I really like how they have set up the patio and painted the floor to hide the parking structure, made it feel cleaners comfortable to eat. plus the service was awesome as always
I love and hate when you travel and find a place you love and it’s only there! Hands down the best Italian I’ve ever had. (One day I’ll make it to Italy) Beautiful views surround you as you eat delicious food. Everything and anything you eat will make your taste buds explode.
AMAZING! Everyone in my party enjoyed all their food and would absolutely eat here again. I highly recommend the lobster mac & cheese
This restaurant is very popular because of the location and used to be a cheap place, I went back last week, first time in 10 years and i was surprise how expensive it was and how bad the quality was. We ordered 3 dishes, returned 1 as it was so bad and the remaining 2 were simply expensive and not tasty (ceasar salad was $15, a total joke). This place was never focus on quality but at least it was cheap, not anymore, it is still not really good but now it s as expensive that many other Italian restaurant. Our bill was $90 plus tips with 2 drinks, 1 salad and 2 pasta dishes. Do not go there, there is a great Italian restaurant cross the street, a little bit more pricey but very good. C& O is for tourists.
I had low expectations for this restaurant as the interior and exterior isn’t the most kept restaurant. Plastic lawn chairs. Small glass Drinking water glasses for wine. Ugh Food was good. Give it a try
We picked to one night that was 30% chance of rain and they only had seats on the patio outside ,so we took our chances(only a few sprinkles).... They sat us next to the heat lamps which kept us very warm. The garlic knots were awesome and they kept coming out hot! I ordered the fettuchini shrimp alfredo. They brought fresh parmesean. It was so good! My husband got the lasagna and said it was also very good. Then came the dessert plate, hard to choose! We split the ice cream(choclate, strawberry and pistashio covered with a hard chocolate coating with whip cream on the side. It was awesome! The service was great!
Food was fabulous, bathrooms are in a terrible location. The singing of amore, at night is wonderful.

Big and boisterous red sauce Italian place, serving large portions of average food for fair prices. The vibe is welcoming and friendly, although getting seated can be an adventure. I wasn't impressed by their table wine which you pour for yourself on the honor system. If it was better they would probably track your pours more closely. Really liked the stuffed mushrooms. Great for kids, but a lower circle of Hell for people who want to converse during their dinner.
They’ll warn you upon arrival to pace yourself on the amazing garlic knots that arrive warm to your table every 10-15 minutes during your meal. It’s hard not to inhale too many of them before your tasty meal arrives. The staff enjoy what they do and if you are able to eat outside under the heaters, you’ll have fun watching life go by on the way to the beach. They have lots of inside room as well, especially if you want to plan a large gathering. The pasta was outstanding, the service as well. We would return. We were in a hotel nearby and it was easy walking distance.
Went with a small group on a weekday early afternoon to the location at the Venice pier. Parking was nearby. We sat in the outdoor garden which was like a piece of Italy. We were brought some warm Garlic knobs which were amazing. Most of our group had been there before, we had not. They had a large assortment on the menu. My husband chose the Pappardelle Pasta with boneless short ribs while I tried the Farfalle Genovese. Both were delicious large servings. Our waitress was attentive, the setting made you feel you were in Italy and the food was amazing. A place to go back to. While you are there do not forget to walk a few blocks to see the Venice Canals.
We ate here after getting off the plane from London based on the restaurant being ‘No 1’ in tripadvisor and it was also very close to our hotel. It’s not no 1’ not even in its own street. It is a typical American Italian restaurant. My wife’s minestrone was rather gloopy, not at all like a minestrone you would be served in a trat in Italy, or even in the UK my salmon was decent, but again, the rice was American, not Italian. Now the good bits. Our server, Yvette, was lovely and attentive, their USPs of free garlic rolls and self-service Chianti charged on an honour basis, were both excellent and the atmosphere was fun. So, if you are used to Italian food in the US and like it, do try C&O; you’ll have a nice evening.
We were looking for a place to have breakfast. When we were looking at their menu outside we were offered some of their famous garlic rolls. The person offering us the sample rolls was very friendly and outgoing. We were immediately drawn to sit and have breakfast. We were not disappointed as we all tried the breakfast sandwich, which was very good. Everything was yummie. I accidently left my bank card on the table. I live out of town and called them to see if they had it. They did and very glad to mail it back to me.
