Now this is probably one of the best spots you can go for sushi. The restaurant has such a nice ambiance. You have to take off your shoes which was a great surprise. Very clean floors. And you feel like you are sitting on the floor yet your feet go into an opening. I loved it.

5 stars across the board. Out of all the good you can appreciate here, chef Steve is a truly rare find.

Most unique sushi seating in LA! You remove your shoes and sit on the wooden floor with a hole in the ground like in Japan. Sushi is quality and make sure to check out the daily fish special board since I’ve had some great finds over the years.

This was a nice place to eat while waiting to head over to LAX. Food tasted fresh and it felt very welcoming. We tried many different things and enjoyed all the food and sake. I had uni for the first time and they had two different options we went with the Santa Monica option I believe. Over great spot for a good meal.

When inside you see tables very close to the ground and have to take your shoes off to eat. The sushi was very fresh and tasty. The service was great and fast. I hope to come back to this place again!!!

The overall quality of food is ok, I guess. But the manager/host named Gina here is so incompetent and rude! The one that always wears a black mask😷 She even rolls her eyes sometimes when we ask for something. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve literally heard her yelling at the servers there so many times. She thinks the customers can’t hear her, but oh yeah, we can. She should be either fired or trained again properly in how to respond to customers when they ask for accommodations and how to treat the employees.

Fantastic place. Kind of hidden in a strip mall in Marina Del Rey.

The sushi is fantastic. Standouts with the albacore fried onion roll and the soft shell crab, as well as all nigiri (butter hotate, ocean trout, o-toro).

Nice vibe as well, with cute seating where you legs kind of hide under the table. Not trying to be too “vibey” - just authentically a cool, nice yet chill spot.

And finally by far the best value to quality sushi I’ve seen in ages. Everywhere these days either seems to be low quality crab salad sushi, or “omakase only.” This strikes a needed balance, and I’d trust omakase or a la carte here.

One of the best sushi places on the west side 💕

Irori used to be my go-to sushi bar, but last night's sushi was possibly the worst sushi I've eaten except for supermarket sushi ...We Ordered chefs special ...the sashimi all tasted the same. The sushi was no better and the natto was almost inedible And the pokey appetizer tasted like canned tuna. I do not know what happened to the quality but I will not be back to find out.

Frequent flyer here - the food and atmosphere is always amazing. Not cheap but good value for money. The Omekase ($100) is fantastic. Ask for Danny to be your waiter - he’s kind, attentive and very knowledgeable.
