I had a wonderful experience at Le Pain Quotidien. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were kind and welcoming, creating a pleasant experience from start to finish. The food was excellent, nutritious and high quality, with standout dishes like the hearty lentil soup. The pastries were also very fresh and delicious, a great complement to the meal. Overall, it’s a place I’d definitely return to for both the food and the inviting ambiance at MDR

Our Favorite Breakfast Spot!
Le Pain is hands down our favorite place for breakfast! Whether it’s just me, the kids, or our entire extended family, the experience is always wonderful—no matter the group size. The staff is consistently friendly, respectful, and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special.
The food is delicious and beautifully presented. We truly enjoy every bite. My only small complaint is that the prices are on the higher side, which makes it more of an occasional treat than an everyday stop. Still, it’s worth it for the atmosphere, service, and quality.

This review is from a french and it's a very good review. The croissant and pain au chocolat we had was just perfect, not industrial like in France in a lot of bakeries. And the soft-boiled eggs with the bread was amazing. Thank you ! 😍
The food is much too expensive and the dishes are too small for the buck.
Extremely bad service
Cold food, mistakes in orders, no apologies or any attempts to solve the issue.
Everything that could go wrong, was wrong
Not recommended.
The food was excellent. Had the avocado toast with eggs. The waitress was busy and did not have too much time for us. We had to go up to the counter to ask for things. Food was excellent.
They make the most delicious, fresh food I've ever had at a restaurant. It's my favorite place to eat. You can tell they love food, they love their guests, and they love their restaurant. Give it a try, it will not disappoint.

Went there for the crookies (croissant+cookie) with my friend, we were super excited. More excited than you should be for a crookie. We asked the waitress which crookie she recommended because they had options, and she told us straight away to not get the double chocolate because of the calorie intake, and gave us a number. Mind you, me and my friend both have problems with food and eating. Then, we ordered lattes and she told us to get a small, because it would be “best for both of us”. Next, when she brought the crookies, she called us “bad bad girls”. At the end when we got our check, we talked to her about it, and she again mentioned calorie intake, which kind of ruined her apology. We barely got to eat our crookies because every time we went to take a bite we heard “bad bad girls” echoing in our heads. I wish I was kidding.

This is the second time I went to this place. The first was a weekday and everything was fine.
Yesterday (Sunday) I went for a brunch and unfortunately my espresso and juice arrived way before the food. By the time the sandwich arrived, I had finished both coffee and OJ. So 1 ordered another round which only arrived when I was done with my sandwich. They should improve the pace in the kitchen.

Today I’ve ordered from your Marina Del Rey location using Doordash. There was a fly in my doughnut and a piece of a rotten banana at the top of my (pretty dirty) chicken soup container lid. I can’t believe you guys think it’s ok to have this quality control and presentation! Do better!

FOOD POISONING: Posting this review to prevent this happening to others! Had the ham & cheese omelette with a side of bacon last week. Unfortunately standards have dropped, as the bacon was under cooked giving me severe food poisoning. This completely wrecked my last 4 days visiting L.A. as I was bed bound unable to leave the hotel. Posting 1 star to this review is generous and I sincerely hope this never happens to you!!!
Tried a few of their pastries and cookies through 2g2g and they were just alright
