Worst experience when ordering takeout from this restaurant using their website. It has happened twice that the order was incomplete. When I call them they mention that they will refund the money but I have never received the refund and have had to dispute the entire transaction. Daylight robbery !

Gentleman was very nice, helpful and offered to help with the menu. It was my first time here and wanted something small. I ordered the kale and apple salad. Very delicious and fresh. Lots of fruit and cranberries. Clean restaurant and clean restrooms! Will definitely come back when i visit my brother again.

We catered from Mendocino Farms for my Nana's birthday party. Everything came labeled which was extremely helpful for the event and all of the food tasted fresh!

Eric the manager today, Oct. 14, 2024, demonstrated exceptional customer service and friendliness. There was an issue with a female employee which I believe he privately and graciously addressed to my satisfaction. She assumed I was a homeless person in need of a bathroom. I use a walker. She refused to allow me to enter nor did she direct me to a place where I could enter. I never asked for a bathroom. She said I could go to Starbucks next door where there is a bathroom. She did not listen to me at all and was rude and inconsiderate. Eric was also thorough with my orders and I appreciated it because I made several changes to suit my friends and my tastebuds. He went out of his way to make me feel valued as a customer. And lastly he escorted me to my car and made sure I knew how to enter the restaurant through the parking lot next time. Eric made my experience at Mendocino Farms very very pleasant. Thank you so much Eric. Marsha R.

I often shop next door at Ralph’s, and I had noticed Mendocino Farms a few times, so I decided to give it a try. That particular evening, I was craving a sandwich with steak, but I didn’t want just another hamburger. I went for the Peruvian Steak sandwich as takeout, and it was absolutely spectacular. The flavors were spot-on, and the quality of the ingredients made it an excellent value for the price.
The only downside was that the wait time was a bit longer than expected, but honestly, the sandwich was worth it. Plus, the staff was incredibly friendly, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back!
ALLERGIES BEWARE! I go to Mendocino at least once usually twice a week. I always order a GF sandwich and I make sure to tip 15%-20% even tho I do pickup because I make it clear it's an allergy and I know some extra precautions are required. However, today I noticed while watching them make my sandwich that they were switching between gluten sandwich and my sandwich without changing gloves. I went up to manager and pointed it out and they went and told the kitchen staff to remake it. Kitchen staff weren't happy to redo it (they were cursing me out in Spanish) to say the least and it ended up taking another 10 minutes to make the replacement. Overall, tho I appreciate them redoing, there was no apology and it's very frustrating because I know if I don't watch them then I could end up with an allergic reaction and very sick.
This seems to be the only Mendocino store with this problem. Would love to hear from management how they will prevent this in the future because this is the third time in a couple months at this location despite my clear instructions to the person at register to notate serious allergy. And never an apology and I always get told off even tho I pay extra both in GF bread and in tip to make sure my order is done safely so I don't get sick.

I order from here every week and the chicken in the salad has been really inconsistent- sometimes it tastes fine, sometimes it has that old chicken taste- today the chicken was hard old and inedible- gross.

This is by far one of the best places I've ever been to. The vibes were cute when I first came in and then the servers were so sweet and helped me figure out what I should eat. I had the Peruvian Steak Sandwich and it was INCREDIBLE. Like...I'm still thinking about it. The PERFECT amount of spice and subtle flavors on the perfectly crisp yet soft bread combine to make every bite delicious. I also had the pineapple and tajin juice...MIND-SHATTERING oh my goodness it was so delicious. I also loved the cookie I got there (and I am VERY picky about cookies). If I could give this restaurant more stars I would and I would go every day if I lived on the west coast but alas I was traveling and will have to wait to taste this splendor again.

I'd been reluctant to eat at any Mendocino Farms after a few disappointing experiences at the location in Studio City/Sherman Oaks. The service was so slow (like, 40 minutes for a salad).
But I've been converted! The service at this location is stellar. Great people who seem to genuinely care about your experience.
I ordered the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada w/ chicken added, and it was DELICIOUS. The flavor combos are surprisingly complementary and the crunch element is so pleasing. It's a tiny bit spicy--which I enjoyed.
I'll be back--both for the salad and the excellent service.
