Lovely Cuban restaurant just off the beach.
I got the lechón, my son got some pollo.
Dessert was caramel/espresso flan.
Great cocktails, great food, great service.
Reasonable prices for the location.
Excellent food and superhero staff. Love this place!

I drove all the way from the Inland Empire because I had a serious craving for their hibiscus tacos. I used to be a regular here, but this was my first visit in over two and a half years. Unfortunately, while the food was still phenomenal, the overall experience left much to be desired.
I ordered two hibiscus street tacos with black beans, rice, plantains, and a side of mushrooms in their delicious caper sauce. I also got the artichoke dip and a virgin blueberry mojito. The food did not disappoint. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and exactly how I remembered it. They did accommodate my request to have the mushrooms with caper sauce on the side, which I appreciated.
The service, however, was disappointing. I was not greeted or seated. I had to grab a menu myself and ended up placing my order at the bar out of frustration. It was obvious I was there to dine, but I felt completely ignored. One of the staff members also made a very forward comment about tipping. I had every intention of leaving a tip, but the way it was approached felt tactless and unprofessional.
I was also overcharged for the artichoke dip. It was listed at twelve dollars for happy hour, but I was charged eighteen. To make matters worse, they did not include any utensils in my to-go order.
At that point I just went to go enjoy my food in the car instead. The food was incredible, but the poor service made the experience frustrating. I am not sure I will be returning.
Went for Sunday brunch and got everything we wanted. G(our amazing dining experience consultant) was on top of it. I was feeling family style and so we ordered that way. Without even telling her she asked if we wanted everything cut to suit. The Benny was perfect. The waffle chicken Sando (when you want one always do it) was on point and the burger we got was delicious. Also fries were on point. But again G made the experience because it was just seamless. Why not have a perfect Sunday brunch with 4 different flavor margaritas and a sampling of their delectable menu. Thank you for hosting our group.
5 STARS all the way around From the host to the food and service.

The blonde waitress with a nose ring is the worst and most rude waitress ever. The place wasn't even busy when I went for brunch and yet I had to wait 10 minutes just to get the menu. When I raised my hand to order, she appeared offended, took my order reluctantly and didn't answer a question I asked. She banged the cup of cappuccino I ordered on the table, and just removed the ice and gave me back the glass of water when I specifically asked I didn't want cold water. My order arrived 30 mins later even as others who ordered after me got theirs earlier. She appeared friendly with another American gentleman which tells me was probably put off by my race and hence a racist. Naturally, I didn't leave any tips. It's a pity this place is in my neighborhood and so pathetic. Never coming back here and would recommend you to skip this place and look at alternatives.

Loved this place. I wish I was a local so that this could be a regular place for us. We ordered the cubano and the fish ‘n chips. Food is fresh and well made, served hot and tasty. Good portions too without being overwhelming. I really like the atmosphere, playing oldies instead of the same top 40 that you find at other places. It’s a small place so I’m glad we came at lunch, otherwise I can see it being cramped with crowds. Very friendly service from Saul. Thanks for the great meal!

Gi was our server and she’s wonderfully polite, upbeat and attentive. Food was great, sliding roof let in light, heater kept the morning chill at bay… generally great Sunday breakfast experience.

This is single handedly the BEST place for breakfast in Venice. Save yourself the time and trouble of looking for anywhere else. The people were friendly and didn't rush you like the other nearby places. ❤️
