Absolutely outstanding! Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. It didn’t taste like it was boxed or frozen at all! It was simply delicious. The atmosphere actually felt like a restaurant in Japan. The service was excellent, with some of the staff actually being Japanese, so I pulled out my skills and tried to speak the language. Overall: everyone was kind, the food was delicious, and I couldn’t find anything wrong with this restaurant. Highly recommend!!

This is more of a 2.5 star review, not terrible but definitely not great. I ordered the Philly roll, shrimp tempura roll and fried gyoza dumplings. The rolls were good but I was given the pan fried dumplings instead and didn’t realize it until I got home and to top it off the filling inside the dumplings was raw.

Incredible find. Fantastic traditional restaurant with amazing variety of fish. Almost skipped the place based on its strip mall location.
Probably some of THE best sashimi I’ve ever had. The fish was so soft and fresh. The spicy tuna roll was incredible, the rice was sticky and the fish was tasty and soft. They seemed short staffed so the service was pretty slow that evening but they were super apologetic and nice about it. Delicious sushi, would love to go again.

Hands down my favorite sushi on the westside. Moto always has a fresh selection of daily specials, and the quality of the fish is in matched. Ken is the chef behind the bar most nights, it’s very fun to watch him work. Be sure to try the fresh scallops, the chawanmushi, and the chu toro.
