My wife and I had a date brunch at Whiskey Reds. The music was popping and the food did not disappoint us. We had the brunch special for 2. Brooke's waitress service was exceptional.
We sat for 1/2 hour-45 minutes and the server then said, they lost our order... the restaurant ambiance is beautiful however there were just a handful of customers on a Saturday night. Once the food finally came it was awful!
Great food in the most beautiful setting! It was so serene and peaceful to sit outside and enjoy the views of the water, while eating dinner. The patio is huge and can definitely accommodate large groups.
This was my first time at Whiskey Red's. My waiter was so helpful with the menu. He recommended the Fried Chicken and Waffles, Crab & Shrimp Eggs Benedict and the Chicken Sandwich. Everything he recommended was so delicious. My daughter and her tried the mimosas two different flavors and loved them. We will be back with more people on our next trip. Thank you for brunch ?❤️
Service was not good. No one came to our table for 10 minutes. When I went to ask why, we were told that if we wanted to order we had to walk to the bar and order. I got to the bar and was told I would have to wait a few minutes because they were busy. It all went downhill from there. We won't be going back.
Our waiter with a dark haired mohawk didnt get out drinks out for 35 mins. Didnt take our order for 45 mins and refused to look at any of us in the face ao we had no idea if he was ready for another order as he just kept pushing buttons. He was rude and in the worst mood. I was so embarassed that we had my fiances bday brunch there this Sunday. Mortified. He yelled at us for taking the umbrellas down even though he wasnt around and never asked us to help us. Then when we stopped he threw the second umbrella back violently and everyone at our table just got quite and looked at him like what the hell. One hour and 30 mins to get our food. Our server should be fired. He has no place working at this beautiful place he made it so awkward that no one wanted to leave a tip but no one felt safe not leaving one.
First experience was with a not so welcoming hostess but once they allowed us to sit during heavy negotiations with the hostess which went nowhere we met a lovely waitress named Brianna who was great. It was pleasant after that. Seems to me a welcoming person in front is a nice thing.
Horrible service. Never got a check back once we received our food, waited 12 min to get Tabasco but it was no longer needed by then. Server was absent. Lobster roll was a large hard bun with a tablespoon of protein, definitely not worth it. Will not return.
We had to wait over 20 minutes for someone to come to our table and take our order. The waiter was very nice, but the restaurant is understaffed. Food was okay, not bad for happy hour food..
We got there and was seated at the table for approximately 20 minutes. I tried several times to catch one of the waiters attention to be served, but they kept walking past. Finally I seen a manager and went over and asked. Would it be possible for him to get us served , a waiter then showed up promptly and was very attentive afterwards.

Our server was really nice. We ordered the grilled oysters , chowder and caesar salad. Drinks included a bloody mary that was perfect and strawberry dreamin. The management even greeted us and asked how we were :)
We tried Whiskey Reds twice- both times for brunch on the patio. And the marina view there is amazing. Nice service. The food I would describe as very good. A million dollar view and a good brunch. Hard to beat!
Experience was great. Love the ambience, food & drinks. Rosendo's service made the experience better. I love that the manager stopped by our table to ask how everything was. The live music was a cherry on top.
We found this location via Google. It was close to our hotel and the beach area. It was fun to sit and relax while watching a rowing team and a small fleet of sail boats. We were able to get right in for a table but had to wait a bit for our food. Then when it did come the server had given me the wrong dish. It worked out okay because I just switched with my daughter. The server did feel bad and comped us our drink and gave us an extra dessert. Overall we will probably go back.
We ordered from the Dine in L.A menu. Our first time here. Ambiance is nice, outside fresh air, great view of the water, boats, sunset...We ordered calamari, brussel sprout, fish and chips, cheesburger and fries , plus dessert chocolate cake and red velvet cake. They had run out of the cheesecake option. Cons: calamari was on the saltier side( was offered a spinach artichoke dip instead) which was a plus. Fish was ok. A bit overly done. Fries had no flavor. Basic frozen fries i think. Brussel sprouts were good. Cheeseburger was average. No cheesecake option was brought a chocolate cake instead. I hate chocolate cake so my fiance ate that. Red velvet was ok as well. Drinks were average too. Service was good. Ni e and friendly waiter. Attentive.
