Parking: The parking is terrible. There is a paid parking area in the rear of the building and metered parking in front. Because of the location open spaces are few and hard to come by.

What an embarrassment to our neighborhood. Not only is the food mediocre and way overpriced but the owners and management are lazy POSs. Someone smashed their window and they never made any attempts to clean up the glass. Hundreds of dogs walk by their establishment everyday. Not a care in the world to try and clean the sidewalk in front of their business. It’s now been over two months. Boycott this place! Go over to Sushi Hama on Windward Circle where the food is delicious and they take care of their neighborhood.

This is truly one of the best sushi experiences I’ve had in recent memory. Toi was absolutely excellent and truly the best waiter I’ve ever had. The sushi was truly amazing and I will be back soon!

A neighborhood destination for trustworthy quality sushi. The sake list is intentionally righteous and uplifts the food. Service is so caring, intelligent, and welcoming. I felt so taken care of.

50+$ for two rolls to go. I expected baby crab and cherry blossom. I got an imitation crab salad on top of a fall apart roll with avocado. I’ve had better sushi from the grocery store. The staff was friendly but this was not made with love.

This is the second time I've brought some clients in for dinner and it was EVERY BIT AS GOOD AS THE FIRST TIME!! The quality of the fish is top notch, and the staff and chefs are professional, outgoing, and attentive. I live up in the San Ferndando Valley, but won't hesitate to make the drive into traffic on the 405 to eat here again and again. Well done Sushi Enya, and we'll be seeing you soon!

I had a sad experience while I was there.Food was great, one thing that made me sad was one server spoke bad about random customers. I understand Japanese, so I just happened to hear what they were talking. One male server, who is young around mid 20's commented about customers.Such as Oh, these guys only left 10% of tip, so cheap. They only chose cheap fish and rolls.I looked at the name tag, his name was To something...I just couldn't accept it. It is very unprofessional.

Went to dinner for my besties birthday! Ambiance was chill but clean and nice enough. Food was soooooo good! Every sushi I got was amazing! The truffle halibut roll was sooooo good! And we ordered sooooo much variety and it only came out to $134! Service was good too, kept checking on us!

Went here for a birthday dinner and was blown away.We opted for the omakase experience, which typically isn't filling for me when I go to other restaurants. I thought that would be the case here but was proven wrong.Got to sit at the bar with Chef Tai, super nice and amazing sushi chef. Watching him work was like watching art. Every piece of sushi is handled so meticulously and all the flavors were so balanced. A lot of fish I normally don't eat have made it onto my favorites, but only from this restaurant.Quality of the fish was phenomenal. They get uni from my favorite distributor so that was tell-tale sign that all of the ingredients are carefully curated. Service was great, I believe we were served by the sommelier, and overall the staff were wonderful. Seems like staff chemistry was great so the meal went very smoothly. They did apologize for the wait since they were understaffed, but honestly I hardly noticed waiting too long. Everyone was so efficient and still managed to have time for great conversation. Ambiance was really nice, the decor is so simple but I really like the overall look of the restaurant. It isn't a large place but there's so much open space it feels roomy.Only downside is parking is paid and very limited. But, that's independent of Sushi Enya, more so a Los Angeles problem. Sushi Enya is quite far away from me but will definitely be coming back, absolutely worth the drive if you're looking for amazing omakase that does not disappoint.

Would have appreciated some of the classics. Some rolls were just over the top. Too many things in a roll. Saying this.. the place was great and people very nice!

The three of us made a reservation using Open Table, which I recommend. If you intend to have any cut rolls, you must sit at one of the tables, as they do not serve cut rolls at the bar.We were greeted by sommelier/manager Toi, who was extremely attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the food menu and the terrific selection of cold sake, from which we ordered two of the same exquisite bottles, during the course of the meal. The food was absolutely delicious! We all ordered the same dishes. The special Enya signature hand roll, yellowtail belly, sweet shrimp w/ deep fried heads, salmon skin hand roll, halibut w/ grated black truffle, mirugai (giant clam), o-toro, chu-toro, uni with raw quail egg yolk, individual bowls of steamed Japanese rice and for desert, Japanese sponge cake served with hand-made vanilla ice cream and green tea mochi. As previously stated, all the food delivered to our table was exceptional in presentation and flavor. That said, as good as the personal service was(thanks to Toi) the sushi bar and back of house service was slow and spotty. The dishes came very slowly and not in the order we asked for them. We waited a very, very long time for the uni w/ quail egg and we ordered that right after when we were seated. We were informed that the sushi bar chefs were struggling to deliver those dishes with the quail egg yolk still intact. Finally two of the three dishes came to our table. The third dish came a bit later, but the raw yolks on their own soon slid over the edge of the uni and broke onto the plate in the process, completely ruining the dish for the guest who wanted it most. The mirugai (giant clam or geoduck) was also very, very slow to arrive to our table. Hence, a four and not five star review. All three of us had a great time and enjoyed our meal, bottles of cold sake and the terrific personal service of Toi. We will be returning, and we hear that the restaurant plans on implementing a "happy hour" in the near future.

Recently, I ordered to go and noticed there was an automatic 10% gratuity, which was never added before. Tipping on to go orders should always be an option.
