Great place for breakfast or just a coffee break. Reasonably priced for the quality you get. They have a unique patented espresso technique that is worth trying (it doesn’t require an espresso machine). Great place to do some laptop work as well. 11/10 recommend!!

Came here for a lunch coffee. Enjoyed the atmosphere and the service. However, the coffee was watery and not good unfortunately.

Don't go here if you want to pay with cash. They don't accept cash. Wish they would post that somewhere, so a person doesn't waste their time. So bizarro, it's Marina del Rey, not Compton. It's a coffee shop, not a high-end anything. OWNER, PLEASE STOP LYING TO YOUR EMPLOYEES! OWNER, TELL THEM THE TRUTH, YOU DONT TRUST YOUR EMPLOYEES NOT TO STEAL FROM YOU! Very sad, when a person can't pay with legal tender. The thieves win everything. Good people are screwed. You lost a sale today. I went over to Le Pain Quotidien. The gladly accepted my legal tender and made the sale you all lost out on. Literally, this business does not like money.

The place is a modern minimalist yet comfortable layout that exaggerates space. While it would accomdate crowds, it was not crowded when we went. Seating was plenty and you have a lot of your own space. Coffee is pretty good and the bagels are good and kind of a unique take.My lox bagel had a nice thick slice of heirloom tomato (pictured)

Baristas here are nice. I mostly come here for the bottled espresso ? ambiance is great for getting some work done or conversation with someone, food choices are great as well. I usually park on the street nearby.

Not sure what all the raves are about. They’ve gotten rid of all the things that made them special a few years ago, like condensed milk, and other little goodies, so it’s really just an upscale Starbucks to hang out with your computer and overspend.Ordered two things that were “no longer on the menu“, and all of their pastries were very very sweet, all pumpkin themed for the holiday. Finally ordered a regular latte, was happy to pay the eight dollars (?), and then the laid back barista decided to share their “glass jar system“ – which is a very pretentious way of saying that they charge you for a glass jar to go.I’m sorry- but spending 4 dollars for a glass jar on top of an 8 dollar latte is absurd. Apparently this is their way of “protecting the environment” – AND making additional $ - but really there are now high quality Eco friendly cups, that you could offer customers who don’t want to pay for a four dollar glass jar plus tax.Ownership mite reconsider this because as it may be great for the neighborhood folk who are going to return constantly, for those of us just stopping in - it’s a huge waste of money. Not to mention that glass can break- so all in all not an awesome alternative to eco friendly bio degradable cup.Went about two blocks down to another local coffee shop and got a perfectly awesome latte for 550 – and an eco-friendly cup to go.

I had the orange latte and I very much enjoyed it. It was a perfect balance of orange and espresso flavors - so tasty. The person greeted me when I walked in and she was so warm and friendly so service was great. The space is nice and airy with seating inside and out. Parking was easy on a Sunday morning on the street. Even though I live a bit far I would definitely come back here for the orange latte and friendly service.

We sat at the bar and the batista made me a custom drink because I requested a Spanish latte which was no longer on the menu. Staff was helpful and accommodating and nice to chat with. There is plenty of seating but might need to come early since there seemed to be many students there doing their work seriously. Next time I'd like to try their food/ snacks. Btw you can take the to-go jars home and reuse them for yourself...perfect for chia seed pudding ;)

Love the atmosphere, so mellow. One could easily lose track of the time. The cappuccinos are bona fide and the menu is simple yet delicious. I've really enjoyed everything they have here and they do not skimp on mimosas. The servers are chill. Overall minimalist vibe. Back to the coffee though... I think they're onto something.
