I finally tried Shake Shack. Shockingly disappointed that the hype didn't come close to my expectations or reality. I went to a excellent location by the harbor in Marina del Rey. I was served a weird burger. The tiny hamburger patty had a chunk of meat missing. It was like 3/4 of a patty that didn't even fill the bun. I love crinkled fries but not cold and crunchy. The hamburger tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. The restaurant and the restrooms were borderline clean. I don't recommend Shake Shack especially for the price.

Food was great, location convenient, restaurant clean with nice decor, prepare time for food was reasonable. Convenient to order via one of their iPad type registers, pay & take a place card with a number to your table to wait. When the food is ready, the server delivers it to you. No waiting in line behind someone who can't decide what they want :) Free water is nice touch. Not sure why the need to tip tho with little to no human interaction : /Parking: Parking area is conveniently located outside of store and away from the strip mall parking. Easy to get in and out without having to deal with other mall patrons.

I like this chain restaurant... their vegan shakes are a great price compared to FAT burger... everything about this place is much better quality than that place. I've enjoyed 4 burgers. The breaded mushroom is filled with liquid cheese. That was a surprise!
