It’s hard to overstate how good these pizzas are. I came back from Rome and was fortunate to find this across the street from my place. Legit Margherita pizzas! Just had the breakfast calzone which was fantastic. I’ve had several other pies and they were all fantastic.You can find them at the MdR Farmer’s Market on Saturday and the Mar Vista market on Sunday.They are also the nicest people. We are fortunate to have such craftspeople in LA. Seriously, go buy a pie!

I have been enjoying the MDR Farmers Market for years. About a year or so ago a new vendor arrived on the scene. The Pizza Prof. Is definitely my favorite go to for breakfast or lunch on any given Saturday morning. Their new breakfast calzone is absolutely delicious. The mix of cheese and cream inside their incredible pizza dough is amazing enough but then they top it with an over easy egg. Who would have thought of this on a calzone? They did and it is amazing. If they had a location locally they would definitely be packed full of people daily. If you are looking for a unique delicious pizza or calzone on any Saturday morning or early afternoon this is truly the stop you want to make. You never know you might actually enjoy a fresh handmade pizza and find something at the market you like as well. Enjoy the pizza and the wonderful weather here in the Marina.

OMG just had a pizza Margherita from them...couldn't be more Yummy....the cheese/sauce/crust ratio...perfect. Then i gobbled the rest left over and cold and man oh man...still great. And as an added bonus Hilary and Matt are a very sweet couple. i will definitely be hitting up the Farmers Market again to look for them. Can't wait to eat some more. I would post a photo but all i have is the empty box.

BEST.PIZZA.EVER!! I've tasted pizza from Italy and this pizza BEATS it! It's a must try... My favs are the spicy Italian and the white truffle with prosciutto, but don't take my word for it... Go get yourself some!!
