Nice ambience. The alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktail drinks taste not worth the price. Overall we had a great time. Great service.
Food was very average for the price and “Happy Hour” beers were the only real “deal”.....nothing in the limited menu or quality to motivate me to return......portions were good but part of the cache' is to sit outside and savor the MDR ambience......couldn't do that because there weren't any available umbrellas to escape the afternoon sun
Oysters were frozen and all the food was salty. Clam chowder bread bowl looked like it came out of a can.
The larger patio where we were promised to have a table was not available at 2:30 PM. The area between the patios where we were given a table was not air-conditioned, and the warm weather made it quite uncomfortable to sit and enjoy the meal. Despite the promise , we were not offered alternative seating or accommodations. Service was polite , and while the food was ok, the overall experience fell short of expectations due to the seating arrangement and lack of comfort. We will not come back here .
The restaurant wanted “hear more about my experience” instead of just leaving 1 star, so here's my response. Hey Whiskey Red's - I was there on the complete embarrassment of a disaster that was Fourth of July 2025. I don't think you really want me to leave my full thoughts here, in a public forum.
Worst experience ever. Understaffed, drinks took 40 minutes, food took an hour and was cold and gross. Very disappointed.
We have been coming to Whiskey Reds for years! We have been for all Holidays, including Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter. We also come for special occasions. We had Easter Brunch and we were completely disappointed!!! They have really gone down hill with their Holiday Brunch!!! The salad was wilted, like it had been sitting out for a bit. We were disappointed they stopped with their appetizer tray as it was wonderful before.. we ordered shrimp cocktail for another $10. They were good. Then our entrée came and I had the salmon which was very good, but a very small piece of fish. My friend had the lobster roll with french fries we then had a dessert tray, which was good very small. Our waiter was not that great. The service was not great. That's what really bothered me a lot. We had to ask for refills for everything and when we got there, it was not that busy. They became busy after we were there a while, but our waiter never came back to ask if we needed any tea or water or coffee or anything as a matter of fact, I had to stand up and go ask. also, when we completed our meal, we stayed there another 10 or 15 minutes to pay and I had to go find the waiter to pay service was terrible. It's just very disappointing to go to whiskey reds now. I've been going to whiskey reds for years and they were amazing for all holidays. Now I have to find another place to go. I will not return there for holidays. Their regular menu was not available, which it should have been. I think it would've been better. We paid $180 for 2!! We did not even have cocktails and thought of other places we have been and spent that amount money. It just was not worth it! I'm so disappointed and sad! What happened to them???
It was an Eater Brunch for the ages. The waffle was scrumptious with the apple slices prepared in Cognac sauce and what a touch with the center filling of Nutella. Prime rib was very tasting and the grilled shrimp were prepared to perfection and congratulations on those medium poached eggs. All in all the experience was joyful and the service top notch and the desert platter topped off a pleasant time. Since this was our 5th trip it's a 60 mile drive well worth taking again.
We were disappointed... First and foremost, WHAT IS UP WITH THE PARKING?! There's no valet option, which is confusing because there's this sort of round about that looks like there is one... You have to park in the general pier parking area, but they give you a code for 2 free hours *with a catch... Not all the pay stations have keypads to enter the code, not all pay stations operate and they offer no solution. This was very frustrating, so I dropped my wife (who was wearing heels) at the “valet roundabout” thingy and walked across the entire pier parking area to four different pay stations (two of which were not operating for anyone and one that didn't have a keypad) all to stand in a long line of confused people worried about missing their boat due to the parking issue. There was literally NO SOLUTION, but there definitely would be tickets! Once I got to a working pay station with a keypad, THE CODE DIDN'T WORK! I tried paying with coins, but the machine wouldn't take them. I paid with a card and walked back over to the restaurant. Maybe they can just give you a pass to put in your windshield??? The whole thing took about 45 minutes and we ended up changing the movie we planned to see due to the lost time. This restaurant could use an update and the service could be much more attentive to guests. The name is misleading, I thought they would have either a large whiskey bourbon selection or at least fun whiskey centered cocktails, but no... just the basics. There was a wedding going on, so I'm not sure exactly how much grace to offer to out waitress rolling napkins and hanging out while we were waiting for water, drinks, food... and eventually the check. It was also cold, but they propped the door open I guess to make it easier for them to come in and out. I walked back to my car and grand a hoodie for my wife... Read the room guys!!! The food was REALLY GREAT! We loved the food and have no complaints. An update to a more playful drink menu and parking solution and we're good!
My experience overhall was ot good. The patio floor was filthy and the food, service and drinks were very subpar.

Bottomless mimosas is not a real thing here, I was told, “well, we can't give you ten bottles of champagne,” when I asked why it took forever to get another. Every time we needed something, I had to go to the hostess up front.
The ambiance was awesome! The staff was great! The fried posters were so yummy! I tried to order 2 separate items & they were all out so that was a bummer, however what I did order the Caesar salad & fish & chips & they were amazing! I hope to return to try the lobster rolls & firecracker shrimp!
Poor experience seated in the cold with bad customer service and an overpriced course meal that wasn't too tasty. Last time I will book here especially for a holiday course. I could've went to Outback for a better experience and price.
It was Valentine's day but they were slow in seating and taking any sort of order. Food was great, tasty and unique. They did give me a whiskey sour with no egg white but it tasted fine. Overall my date and I liked it but were not blown away mostly due to the service being slow.
Sat outside with no heaters, service was awful took forever to get anything, food was sub par and overpriced
