Small local, family-owned place with amazing food. It's always a treat to eat there.
Excellent food. Not exaggerating. Small, corner restaurant tucked away in residential Marina. Friendly staff. Great date night experience. Must try.
The best culinary experience in Marina is taking Mexican food to the next level!
the food was incredible the sauces all taste homemade and authentic
These are the best tacos I’ve ever had, and the churros… they’ll tell you that their churros are the best in town, but I think they’re underestimating themselves. Incredible service from Danna and wonderful cuisine. Anyone visiting the Monterey Bay Area should visit here by any means necessary
This place is a hidden gem! The food was delicious, creative, and the staff/service was great! It was a beautiful experience. An absolute feast for the eyes and mouth! Will not disappoint . 🙌
We ordered the Nachos Fiesta and chicken flautas. Both were amazing! Flavorful sauce, crispy chips, and I loved the fresh corn on the nachos. We ate on the road on our way to San Francisco but the interior looked nice as well. Thanks for a great lunch!
Absolutely loved our meal here! The staff were super friendly, and the environment was very cozy and intimate. We got the two-mole dish, which was fantastic. The mole was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were on point. I also got an horchata drink, which is some of the better horchata I've ever had.
Couldn't recommend enough, will surely be back!

This place was such a refreshing break from the usual. Healthy but really yummy twists on things. The service was patient and accommodating, and attended to us just the right amount. I enjoyed it more than I thought I would!
Parking: There are a number of free spots in front of the establishment that the restaurant shares with adjacent businesses.
Kid-friendliness: They had a high-chair, and brought it for us. which was all we needed.

To start with, it is next to the laundry and another Chinese store, and the three places share 10 parking spaces and since there is never a parking lot, it is always full, and the hours are very strange, birds will be open in the mornings, birds in the afternoons, and they close on Sundays. It's when most people rest, but well that's what they want, once I bought a burrito and well it's expensive like everywhere else and it wasn't very good, if they can go to another place with a bigger parking lot they're going to hit their car here Because the parking lots are very close together, they already hit mine, so I won't come back.
We had the best experience! We needed some vegan options, and Aki delivered. We loved our server and the food was incredible!
Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options and several vegan ones!

I'm sad I was only briefly visiting the area and can't make this a regular place to eat. The staff are lovely, service was great and the food was delicious (group of four - all agreed). Fabulous vegetarian options. One of the best places I've eaten. Enjoy!
Vegetarian options: The grilled cactus was delicious and there were other dishes to choose from. It's great to have something as a vegetarian that isn't chilli.

I would love to be able to give this local spot a better rating, but my meal last night was so disappointing. I ordered the pork chile verde to go. The sauce was extremely soupy, as if straight out of the can, with no time cooking. Even though I made a quick trip home and kept the bag level, the watery sauce was everywhere. It ruined the rice; it ruined the beans…and leaked all over my kitchen. Part of the reason I order takeaway is for the convenience of no cleanup. Not the case here, as it made a mess everywhere. The pork was cooked, but obviously not braised in the chili Verde sauce. There was very little chili Verde flavor in the pork. It seemed to
Me that they just used the pork they had roasted for Carnitas or other dishes. Now, if this had been a $15 platter of food, I wouldn’t be writing this review. But this was (after taxes) nearly $30. I may try them again, but I will be skipping the Chile Verde.
