Still wish YELP had reviews in negative numbers. This place deserves ALL below zeros. We had relations visit from out of the country and whilst giving them the "Yosemite Experience" one of our guests stayed back at the house and decided to put food together for dinner. Being from Asia, American Style Chinese is a food treat for them. Wish I had known this was the plan, I'd have advised against this. Food was diabolically bad. NOTHING was edible. EVERYTHING smelled "un fresh and rancid". Nothing was edible. NOTHING!! My friends went back to talk with the owner as this was a large order costing over $200. The owner was rude and of course unhelpful and totally unprofessional. Instead of STARBUCKS coming to Mariposa, a descent and clean Chinese Restaurant serving human grade food would be nice. Even fast food establishment like Panda Express would be appreciated. CHINA STATION is an embarrassment to Mariposa. The owner doesn't care as he has plenty of tour buses to peddle his swill to and isn't worried about repeat business.

After a day in the Yosemite Valley we ended our night for some good chinese food. We ordered the House Spareribs, Sauteed Bokchoy in garlic sauce, Walnut Prawns with Egg flower soup. Everything was bomb! Very happy with the service. We were worried at first because when we walked in there was only 5 people eating and many tables are empty but Im glad we came here and we absolutely had a good dinner. Highly recommended especially if you're craving for some good chinese food after a day exploring Yosemite.

came with my family of 5, food came out very very quickly and it was delicious. they gave us water and attended us whenever we asked for something. the workers are very nice and even thanked us for stopping by. i don’t know why it has bad reviews, it’s a good local chinese restaurant!

Honestly, I don’t know why this place has so many bad reviews. All I can think is that the competition is trying very hard to beat them. Many reviews from local guides may receive compensation from competitors. It should be very hard for this Chinese family to strive in a place like this when they are constantly harassed for being the only Chinese restaurant in town. The restaurant is clean, the decoration is beautiful. The service was quick, and the food was great. We ordered food for five people, alcoholic drinks, appetizers, and the cost did not surpass $110. They have plenty of options for vegetarian people, which was important for us since we were traveling with two vegetarians. The server was very nice; however, if you are expecting a conversation with the server and jokes, you are in the wrong place. Many reviewers misjudge this family based on their culture. You need to be culturally sensitive to know that Chinese culture is very different from American and Hispanic cultures too. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for vegetarian options, quick service, and an affordable meal.

Google says the place closes at 9 pm and we went at 8:15 pm, and they were already closing the doors. They did not seem pleased upon our entry and gave us the bare minimum. Food was very bad! Friend rice had steamed broccoli and no other vegetable and the gravy had too much vinegar. Felt like a last-minute preparation. Would not suggest this place to anyone, bad quality food and bad service.

UGHHHHHH Spent $60. for 4 items and it was all disgusting! Everything was so over cooked! Got shrimp with snow peas in black bean sauce. Couldn't see the sauce was black bean since it was GREEN and it didn't taste like it. Shrimp was so over cooked it was dry and the veggies also were so over cooked they were all mushy!. The noodles from the Chicken Chow Mein were also over cooked and was like a big lump of fat over cooked noodles with extremely dried out chicken. Not many veggies and there were very few of what was in there. Pot Stickers were also over cooked on one side and not cooked on the other side & did not taste good! Then there was the Orange Chicken Sauce was... OK but the chicken was so dried out it was like eating wood! Bottom line the food wasn't very edible at all and it was a waste of $60! It was all like it had been cooked more than once! We got it too go so the service was decent but if the food isn't edible then you're throwing away your hard earned money!
