We are visiting from the UK and spent 3 nights in San Francisco, stopped here on the way to Yosemite and what a stop, this place is not a match for anything that we have had on on our travels to date! Cannot fault it in anyway, the ribeye steak and apple pie are a must! Highly recommend Charles Street Dinner House! What a find we stumbled on! Wish we were staying longer so we could go back and try the rest of the menu! Loved it! Thank you! ❤️“

“We traveled from New York to Yosemite and were really craving Asian food. This place was about a 50-minute drive from our hotel—and it was totally worth it! Honestly, the food surprised us in the best way. We ordered 3 dishes and a wonton soup, and everything was delicious.

The service wasn’t perfect, but everyone was kind. One of my friends joked, “If you see the owner’s kid doing homework in a Chinese restaurant, the food’s going to be authentic”—and it definitely was!
