We came on a Friday night with high hopes, thanks to the rave reviews online. We were one of only two tables, but were immediately told by the staff that there were only two people working and we might have a wait. We understood, and placed our order for six people. Unfortunately, from that point on, everything was a struggle. We had to chase down our server for our drinks, extra plates, and napkins. While the food itself was actually quite good, the plates came out steaming hot without any warning, and we constantly felt like a bother just to get basic service. The constant follow-up needed on our part completely overshadowed the quality of the meal. This was one of the rare times that Google reviews have completely failed us.

I have eaten here a few times. The last time I got the steak ranchero. The food is always good and reasonably priced. The service has ranged from good to indifferent. The decor is nothing special but the place is clean and there's plenty of seating. One thing I have noticed about this place is that the food gets cold very quickly here even though it's served hot.

On my way to Yosemite NP, we stopped for a simple breakfast burrito and after eating it, I realized that it had a very authentic flavor, so we had to come back to try dinner- and oh lord- it was delicious- we got the enchiladas and tacos dorados- yum yum!

Everything was amazing! The environment of the restaurant makes you feel like in Mexico!!! I love it 😻 food was 20/10 costumer service was amazing. When the guy brings the food he said taacooossss in a beautiful way I absolutely felt the vibe🙂↕️ he did an amazing job!!! The music was beautiful. Everything was perfect!!! I know they are short staffed and I feel bad for that...but if you are from out of town and looking for a place to eat, SKIP THIS.

Overall, a great little restaurant. We ate there twice as a family while staying in the Yosemite area. Food was fresh and the portion sizes very generous. Restaurant was clean and never crowded. Service occasionally a little ropey (had to ask for water and for cutlery!) but the staff are enthusiastic, care, and were always happy to help. Highly recommended if you’re after Mexican food in Mariposa!
