Called in here on the 2nd of October to find a sign on the door saying it was closed as the owner has retired. Therefore do not waste your time stopping by
My father left his phone there by accident on his way through town, and we've been trying to reach them for 2 months now without success. They don't answer their phone, don't check their messages, and don't call back. My father and I both have tried calling before, during, and after their listed business hours on multiple days of the week. Left my contact info for them, asking that they please call me back even if it's to say they don't have it, just so I could at least stop bugging them. Nada. Not sure the point of even having a phone and going to the trouble of listing it on the top of your webpage, if you have no intention of using it. It's a shame. The food was decent, and they seemed like nice people. I just wish they cared about their customers. Once an establishment shows they don't care about their customers, thoughts I'd rather not have of cleanliness, food preparation, sanitation, and integrity start flooding my mind. For a small-town business, that's the difference between a 5 star review and a 1.
We had granola with greek yoghurt french toast and buttermilk pancakes for breakfast. Don’t doubt just visit this restaurant
Dixons fixings has the best burgers ever...and also banana splits. :)
Initially after two hours’ wait, one whole hour after order for over easy eggs, biscuit, apple chicken sausage for me, pancakes and bacon for my partner, I started to give a poor rank, but breakfast finally arrived. Perfectly cooked, fluffy biscuit and pancake… very nice staff but wow what a wait! But post Covid, it’s the new challenge isn’t it!
Had breakfast here twice. It was very good. Scones were excellent. Our server during our initial visit, Justin, was outstanding. Restaurant has a lot of large, retro windows that provide a nice view up the street while dining.
Very tasty, and the servers gave us a lot of coffee refills. I got the two scrambled eggs with bacon, which came with wheat toast and hash browns
Delicious breakfast and hometown feel. Friendly service too
Wish we had come here every day of our trip to Yosemite! All of the food was great, but you MUST try the biscuits and gravy, the chicken fried steak, and the cheesy grits. So full!

everything nice at this place very enjoyable place to eat
Fantastic!! Loved the service, sitting at the counter… amazing home made biscuit and more
Best biscuits and gravy my husband ever had. That’s some amazing biscuits! Sausage gravy has huge chunks of sausage. You could literally make a meal out of the gravy! Chicken fried steak was phenomenal. Coffee was tasty and rich with fresh little cream pitcher. Truly a hidden gem. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.
Delicious homemade and local foods. Service, food, atmosphere....all excellent!!!!
Sugar Pine Cafe turns into Dixon 's Burger for lunch. Either way, foods are delicious! Yosemite tourists should not miss this place.
