I love the Lemon Drop! Sarah is an absolute sweetheart! The service is always friendly and quick. The food and drinks are always delicious! I absolutely love grabbing a lemonade on a hot day and some Champurrado on a cold day! The elote and esquite are a constant craving of mine! We also love to checkout the shop while we wait.

This review is for the Lemon Drop food truck located across from Pioneer Market.
I think my pulled pork/carnitas game is strong. Over the last couple years I've often heard, "OMG! This is the best pork I've ever had!" Lemon Drop's is better.
I was on my way home from shopping at Pioneer when I noticed that The Lemon Drop had their long awaited food truck in operation. Hard to miss the bright yellow! I decided to stop in for a chat just to see how things were going for them.
I had just had lunch before shopping and just wanted to chat but during our conversation Chef decided to make me some complimentary tacos. He makes them quesadilla style with melted cheese in between two corn tortillas. A generous portion of pork is topped with fresh onions, cilantro, a little consommé, and a squirt of lemon (it IS The Lemon Drop, after all).
BOOM! That juice exploded into my mouth as soon as I gnawed into the most tender, flavorful pork. It was an EXPERIENCE! It truly surprised me how good it was.
They also serve hot dogs, angus hamburgers, an Indian rice bowl, birria (made with that delicious pork!) that comes in a couple iterations: quesobirria and birria RAMEN. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but the point is that there's something for everyone and there's some interesting culinary fusion going on here.
Definitely bringing the whole fam back!

Ordered the cherry lemonade frozen, it was really good. We also ordered a watermelon snow cone, a mangoneada which was delightful during warm weather. They have arcade games, kids really enjoyed playing while we waited for our order. : )
