For some inconceivable reason, despite the renovation of the entire property, the quality of the food here has taken a major nose-dive since the days of the old Sorensons. Mushy beef stew, lousy artichoke dip. The pretzel and salad were fine but the rest of our meal was surprisingly crummy. How come??
Each year we spend 3-4 days over New Year's at Sorensen's, eating at least one meal each day at the café. We love the food, the equal parts tradition and innovation, and with multiple days, we get to sample the whole menu and we've never been disappointed! The burgundy stew, the burger (OMGGGG!), the soups, the sides, the desserts, we love them all. Thanks Team Sorensens!

Well a little getaway that was on my to do list for 30 years. The newly revamped spaces and accommodations were pretty top notch! We loved the snow scenery. Our dog was treated very well! The dining experience was wonderful. Left feeling very fed and celebrated for my birthday. We live close enough that we'll be back in the fall for the Aspens !! Our waitress was the best!
