Great location, poor service

We had such a good time at this place that it's difficult to find anything negative to say about it. It was overcast, but the friendliness and welcome from one if the hostess and one if the managers was over the top. The food and wine recommendation from our waiter Michael was spot on. The Bloody Marys were different on the good side. The food did not disappoint either. The only thing is that three mussels should have included a portion of bread which we had to purchase separately.
The building is old, but adds character to the experience.

As others have mentioned, the location and views are absolutely phenomenal. We sat outside at the rail, which was perfectly comfortable, and because it was a warm afternoon with minimal wind we could relax and enjoy the incredible scenery.

The drinks were fantastic: incredibly well made and well balanced, we didn’t notice (much less mind) they were made with agave. I had the Bloody Mary and she had the shrub, both were top notch.

We shared the food: fish and chips, plus two each of the chipotle bourbon and miso nori BBQ’d oysters. Everything was fantastic: the fish was beautifully crispy and the flavor was rich and savory. The fries were crunchy and perfect with a couple dashes of malted vinegar. The oysters were all very flavorful. If I had to choose something to list as a downside, it was that the oysters might’ve been a little overcooked: they were a challenge to pull from the shell. But this is complaining at a very high level.

Our server was quite friendly. She even gave us a free Panna Cotta to share for dessert: creamy, slightly sweet, and delicious with the strawberries and drizzle!

excellent spot for seafood. was very busy on a Saturday evening, so took a while to get seated, even with a reservation, and service was slow, but the food was spot on.
the seafood stew was perfect and flavorful. the oysters were as good as it gets. the rustic bread was amazing.
the smoked rooster appetizer was a nice surprise too
need to come back to try more of the dishes!

Fantastic fresh fish and seafood prepared in delicious formulations with great service from Michael who was outstanding. Don’t miss the linguine with clams (garlic butter, zucchini, fresh tomatoes make this dish over the top great), fish & chips and the oysters!

Fantastic venue, staff, and food. I took my wife here on her birthday, on New Year's Day. The derver brought her a cake which was a single candle buried in a glass of rock salt, with a single oyster on top. Food is incredible and the view of the water is out of this world.

Tony’s Seafood is all about location….perched right on the water in Marshall, it delivers that unbeatable coastal vibe. The atmosphere is seriously badass: salty breeze, boats bobbing nearby, and a cozy interior that feels like a rustic hideaway. It’s the kind of place where you want to linger with a cold drink and good company.

I went with the fish and chips, which had a beautifully crisp flake on the outside….golden and satisfying, but the flavor didn’t quite pop the way I’d hoped. Still solid, just not a standout. For dessert, the panna cotta was a pleasant surprise: creamy, well-balanced, and a nice way to end the meal.

One thing to note…it got really loud. Between the chatter and the acoustics, it was hard to hold a conversation at times. If you’re looking for a quiet lunch, maybe aim for off-peak hours.

The menu leans into local seafood classics: oysters, clam chowder, crab rolls, and grilled fish options. Service was friendly and fast, and the views alone make it worth the trip. If you’re cruising through Marin and want a spot that feels like a true NorCal coastal experience, Tony’s delivers.
