New Peking is a delicious new addition to the city of Martinez. Conveniently located right off the Morello Avenue exit, it has quickly become our go-to Chinese restaurant in the area. On our first visit, we tried the crab rangoon, beef chow fun, and steamed dumplings, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of each dish.
Tonight, we ordered the beef with scallion, shrimp fried rice, chicken chow fun, and the beef scallion wrap. The portions were generous, everything was delicious, and nothing disappointed. The new owners are also very kind and welcoming.
We will definitely be back!

Outstanding! I stopped in yesterday and ordered food to go. The freshness and taste was on point. I will be returning. GF options.
We got eggplant in garlic sauce and veggie egg foo young. It was tasty and the portions were big. A little more sauce on the eggplant dish would have been nice, but we liked all the mushrooms and crunchy veggies in the dish. Will go here again for takeout.
Ordered pepper steak at lunch. Included fried rice, spring roll and tea. Attentive service and quick food served. Happy with good quantity and price. I will return. Pic attached
Food is amazing! I ordered the chowmein
with shrimp and they knocked it out of the park with flavor. Exceptional flavor, quality and taste.

Keep in mind a lot of the reviews here are for the OLD chinese restaurant that was here. There's been 3 at this spot since ive been a local here. Originally the first restaurant was ran by a nice old lady and the food was quite good.
I did not care for the 2nd group that came in to this spot, they were just not good.
I can safely say though that this new rebranded spot New peking is really quite good, they remodeled and cleaned everything and the food is served in good portions and is really solid. They may have a few kinks to work out, but the few times I've gone they've gotten better each time.
The hunan chicken lunch special got me to review, really happy to have a good chinese spot in the near area. They deserve your business

New Peking on Arnold Drive is a great addition to Martinez. Their food is delicious, quick service, reasonably priced and best of all, it’s not oily.

Best pork fried rice I've ever had! The only downside is when I ask for soy sauce for my to go order, they say it's in the bag, but it never is.

Very good flavors.
Vegetarian options: I had vege fu Yong, Kung pao shrimp and egg fried rice. Fu Yong wasn't greasy, Kung pao was flavorful and a little spicy, rice was good too. I prefer to spend $ at family owned businesses.
