Excellent Boba and fun place for the kids!
$0.90 for light ice?? For almost 7 dollar vietnamese coffee & light ice, you’re rounding $8 dollars for a 10-12 oz cup. I used to come here more often, but I was shocked they would charge more for putting in light ice. Specifically because there normal boba size is small & expensive. The Vietnamese Coffee itself was good, but on the sweeter side even with customization.
Suryah was very kind and assisted us getting a bear cup. The boba tasted significantly different than the boba in walnut creek (which I prefer), but the ambiance at this place is cool
Best boba Drink this Place So Cute
It’s my first time coming here. The guy works here was nice

The best mochi donuts! Must try!
I stopped by Bober Tea in Martinez kinda randomly, not expecting much, and ended up loving it way more than I thought I would.
The staff here are super friendly in a normal, not-forced way. You can tell they actually pay attention when you order. My drink came out exactly how I asked (I’m picky about ice/sweetness lol), and it tasted really clean and smooth. The brown sugar boba was soft and warm the way it should be. Most places mess that up.
The dragonfruit refresher and Dubai Chocolate are my two favorites now — both taste way better than they look in photos.
And the mochi donuts… wow. They’re not those dried-out ones you get at some chains. These are actually fresh and chewy. I wasn’t even planning to get donuts, and now I basically have to avoid this place or I’ll eat six by myself.
It’s just a solid spot overall. Good drinks, good people, no attitude, consistent every time. Martinez needed something like this.
Disappointing. The Bay is extremely competitive with Boba and this is just lazy. Mochi donuts didn’t taste bad but the problem was they don’t really have a flavor. Pistachio donut tasted like sugar and nothing else. You could’ve put pistachio butter on it. Something….anything, but it didn’t taste like pistachio at all. Taro was mostly milk. I’ve had taro at multiple places, this ain’t it. Even T4 did it better and they place is a chain. Not sure how this place gets 4 stars. When compared to other places it’s not worth it at all. I’d rather drive further to get good boba. I work in the south bay and this place won’t even come close to competing against the other shops down there. Would rather go to SF Japan town. Again, it’s upsetting to think you can get away with not caring how your food and beverages taste when there are other palaces that actually put effort.
best mochi donuts & only ones over had. taro Bob's tree was incredible. will come back for sure!
One drink was disgusting and was thrown away. The two other drinks had zero boba.
