My family and I love this place. The owners, Theresa and her chef husband, are awesome. Theresa hand rolls the won tons for their soup daily and everything is so fresh. If you have a favorite Asian dish and it's not on the menu, ask them! 99% of the time they will make it for you.I'm was very excited to see that they are still open, especially during these hard times. I'm happy to drive out of the way to support this local business. Great location, friendly owners...
Centrally located in downtown Martinez, the Canton Restaurant is quiet, cozy and the food and service is spot on. Food portions were generous. We visited on 10/15/19 and had the lunchtime specials. I had the Cashew Chicken and my guest had the Sweet and Sour Pork. My guest and I both commented on how savory the soup was. The food is prepared differently from conventional Chinese restaurants. Only a wife and husband operate the establishment and prepare the food but the food is still worth the wait :)
