IContra Costa Medical Center is located off of Alhambra Avenue In Martinez California with my daughter for her Doctor's Appointment. I wasn't able to go in with her because of their Covid Restrictions. So I went to get something to eat. I have been to the Cafeteria before COVID But this time only Staff was allowed in the Cafeteria and only staff was given Hot Food, I had to order from a side window and all they had was Salads and Not to much else. ? So I order a Kale & Cranberry Salad. I didn't take any pictures Hopefully They will have The Cafeteria open soon so that everyone can get Hot Food. Lol

Beware! This cafeteria since it opened and re-opened after being remodeled continues to not have any prices posted other than the lunch or dinner main one item. Main item is for example chicken or pizza and not what is served with it. My point is none of the salads, bread, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage, any lunch or dinner items other than mentioned above, drinks, coffee have a price like a food establishment is suppose to be. I have talked to the director, manager and staff about this. The director and manager can care less about my complaint as it is obvious it continues. Three of the times I complained the staff went back to the kitchen and took out the menu price list for eggs only at .75 cents an egg which was raised from .45 cents an egg before remodeling. Many of us that work over time obtain a meal ticket that comes with a 20 % discount as an employee. The cafeteria profit making scheme is to surprise every one at the register with the total purchase price thinking we will cough up the cash since there is no way to know what your total will be due to the invisible prices. No where in my life have I been any where in a food service establishment where they refuse to put a menu price for all food or beverage that can be purchased. Since I have tried several times to ask for prices to be posted and they refuse to post prices, the head of this cafeteria is nothing more than some one who is putting profits and deceit as a priority toward employees and visitors. I will be contacting the appropriate state authorities about this no price cafeteria for every ones best interest.
