Got the chicken fried steak breakfast. Overall not a bad breakfast, little on the pricey side but not bad.
I was hungry and decided to give this place a try. They did not disappoint. I ordered the heart attack omelet with hash browns and I left full. It took the waitress using both hands to bring me a plate, keep that in mind when you order. The portions are generous but not excessive, and the food is excellent. It's so good I even got an order of biscuits and gravy to go. Between the omelet with hash browns, the biscuits and gravy, and 3 glasses of tea my bill was less than $40. If you're ever in Martinez and want a good breakfast or lunch you can't go wrong with this place. The staff is on point, the food is worth writing home about, and the atmosphere will give you a good pat on the back.
Zucchini Fries! 10/10. I love going there for breakfast or brunch. All breakfast items are amazing
The chicken fried steak breakfast was amazing. Great little hole in the wall kind of place.
Great customer service. Amazing great staff, full of smiles and cheer! Will definitely travel back here just to visit Coopers
I just got married yesterday, and we decided to come here to eat afterwards. The food was decent, and they kindly let us push the tables together upstairs. I understand it was a bit inconvenient for them to serve the food since it was hard to get in, but that’s not on them, and we were happy to help pass the plates ourselves.
The only thing that really bothered me was when my dad was giving a little toast. It was very emotional, and one of the younger waitresses came upstairs. Instead of waiting for him to finish or at least saying, “Excuse me, sorry for interrupting—here are your drinks,” she just said, “Here are the drinks,” right in the middle of his toast. Of course, my dad got quiet, and we were all stunned by the lack of empathy and basic manners. We did grab the drinks she handed us the first time because we understood she had to deliver them, but my dad tried to keep going after that—and then she interrupted again!
The second time? At least read the room! It was so awkward, and she asked if anyone else had ordered drinks, but by then we didn’t even care. We just wanted to hear my dad’s toast. On top of that, English isn’t his first language, and he was trying so hard. I got upset and told her, “Can you ask after? We’re in the middle of a toast.” I was hoping she’d at least apologize, but no—she just left the room like nothing happened.
The food was good, and the other blonde waitress was actually very nice. Even though we were a bit of a bother with the tables, she was polite and patient. But overall, this was my first and definitely last time coming here.
Little busy this morning but the staff never misses a beat, they are amazing! Always a great time here. Cheers to the kitchen, get anything on the menu and you wont be disappointed. Fiesta scramble highly recommended!
Wow! We were visiting the area and someone told us to try the Copper Skillet. Breakfast was good. Good choices, good food and good service.
Met with a group, their food was decent. I ordered a patty melt that was kind of small maybe a 8th of a burger instead of a forth? Staff was amazing though prices were not too bad they set up a table for a group in the back for 6 of us.

Amazing food with a really cool vibe inside. I usually go with the fiesta omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. The staff is awesome and make you feel right at home. This is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch to relax and enjoy a good meal.

Wonderful down home eatery. Cozy atmosphere. Under new management. Looks like they kept the same menu. Though it's been almost a year since my last visit. Attentive service. Always a filled mug o' coffee!

Great breakfast restaurant with a lot of character. Very popular, too. We arrived at 8:30 Labor Day, and within 30 minutes, every table was taken.
