Wow!!!!! We live in Lake Tahoe but have family in the Bay Area and will have to make stopping down here part of our routine before seeing the fam.
We didn’t have any of the sandwiches but we probably got all the baked goods I could fit into my bag including the pumpkin filled Bombolini, chocolate babka, two focaccia breads and Sicilian pies. Can’t wait to come back and try the salmon salad and the sandwiches that were recommended by Cindy (?) who was an amazing and knowledgeable host who walked us through all the baked the goods. The market had an array of goods (most of which were local) and a huge selection of cheeses. It is located in this adorable co-op style open market on main street in Martinez. Highly recommend East Bay Artisan!
Awesome little shop - had the mushroom & bacon pizza - amazing, excellent chewy crust, with little pockets of sweet onion jam. Lots of things to try on my next visit!

I have fallen in love with their fresh pasta, sauces. Best Mac and cheese in town (I’m picky about this), lasagna. Just everything I tasted here it’s so good!!!
Wow, this spot is delicious in every way. Sandwiches are great and I took home a lasagna last week and it was so delicious!
This is my first time here and WOW. Incredible sandwiches! The bread is amazing. I'm so glad I came here for lunch today!! I will be back with friends and family.
Best everything!! Pasta, sandwiches, bread spaghetti and pizzas plus all of the delectable baked goods are the best. I will keep going back!!

This was our first time at the Market and Main market and East Bay Artisan. I got the Winner Winner sandwich, and my husband got the East Bay Artisan. We also got a bambolini. I’m picky about sandwiches, but I ate every last bite of mine! The flavor combinations and quality was absolutely superior. The bambolini was unlike any dessert we’ve ever had and it was stunning to eat, not too sweet, but plenty indulgent. We will for sure be returning!

This place is amazing! Great bread and sandwiches! Cool little spot and atmosphere located in the marketplace in downtown. I will definitely be back! If you’re into sandwiches this place is on par with Lucia’s and also Moruccis, but their focaccia is out of this world. Definitely check it out!
I had the Cal-Ital sandwich. Bread was super stale and waaay too thick for the amount of sandwich filling. The pesto mayo tasted old and not at all like pesto. I had a bad stomach ache after eating the sandwich. The food was too expensive and poor quality.
Such a cool place. Atmosphere is over the top. Something for everyone. A must see. A must eat.
Wow, amazing baking talent here! This is the best bread I have had in ages. I'm not talking about just one loaf that they specialize in. Everything I've eaten from there is the best tasting version I've had in years. These folks are better than bakers in Oakland. They're better than San Francisco. We tried their focaccia, cheddar and scallion American muffins, and Brioche col Tuppo. All of it was super awesome.
Great products and amazing people
