We had an Amtrak layover in Martinez, CA and visited Five Suns Brewing. Such an awesome place! The Valkyrie Blonde are to die for, Ernst Amber amazing, Ghost Moon Pilsner delicious, OG Burst wheat wonderful, One Way hazy out of this world, and sweet potatoe crazy food. I couldn't possibly say enough good things; you have to experience this for yourself. 5 stars plus.

Thoroughly enjoy coming here! For the parents that are reading: there are two high chairs available and the bathroom in the back has a changing table, not sure about the bathroom closer to the cashier

Nice, family oriented place. Great spot to hang outside in the sun with friends and enjoy a cold one. The IPA beer critic in me says the beers are OK, but not great. A little off mark. Still worth a vsit.

It’s a decent brewery. No food but always food trucks. Good place in downtown Martinez with a decent selection of beer more IPA heavy then I like. They also don’t rotate beers enough in my opinion. Also if you have kids they have a park next to it ( no playground) with a little creek. it can be either good for them to play with others or it can be terrible with all the homeless hanging out right next to the brewery.

Wow super angry staff, nice space but apparently Taylor (bar staff) wasn’t happy with me and my friends being there.
Beers are good but the staff is inattentive. Typing this as I sit at the bar for 15 minutes talking to a friend but having yet to be acknowledged by the staff.
It's not that busy, there are free chairs at the bar and tables in the restaurant.
