New restaurant, BAD service and the atmosphere. My husband and I decided to lunch there. It was our first and the last time there. This place was empty. No customers. I'm not surprised after we've being treated like street beggars. The rude dark haired waitress in her late thirties didn't come to greet or invite us in. She ordered us like we were unwelcome guests. I tried to switch my chair since it was unstable thus the floor had a defect. She proceeded to scold me about damaging that chair. That was the last drop. We left this restaurant. Actually, I went back and told that woman that she mistreated customers and I would contact the owner. She continued having a smirk and saying "thank you" many times as she was mocking me. I wonder if she relates to the owners since many other reviewers mentioned her obnoxious attitude previously. Why is she there, if her "crappy" attitude ruins this business and loosing customers? I contacted Elsa the owner. She didn't want to hear my input so Elsa passed me on to her husband. Roberto wasn't surprised about this waitress' behavior and promised to talk to her. Good Luck. Don't waste your time and let her ruin your business. Get her out of there. Read the reviews!

Very good restaurant, super cordial and friendly service. We feel very comfortable and well cared for. We went with two year and a half babies and they were given high chairs. Very delicious food and reasonable prices.
Celebrated my daughters baptism here and the food was very delicious and service was just amazing! Very clean , my guest were very happy and so were we definitely recommend for large parties or even a date night :)

I came here with my parents on a random Saturday and I have mixed feelings. First off- it's important to give them huge kudos for the pizza. I was very impressed. The quality of the dough is on point, and the toppings were generous and delicious. They all are in the 9-10 inch range, so small enough to eat one on your own and be full or have leftovers. It also makes it easy to split a few of them amongst several people. The bread they bring as a starter is nothing to write home about. It kind of tasted like that frozen dough you thaw out when you need to throw something together. BUT the red pesto sauce it's served with is to die for. I ended up putting it on everything. Calamari is awesome too.However, I've never tried anything else on their menu. Truth be told, it's because most of the pasta dishes look rather unappetizing. They're swimming in watery sauce. I can't really speak to the taste so I could just be judging a book by its cover, but I'm most likely to just stick to the pizza.As for the service, things get a bit strange. The woman who served us (I think the owner?) was nice enough but her energy was loud, frazzled and intimidating. Whenever she came by the table I would get anxious.It's also not the cleanest or nicest looking- kind of just your run of the mill sticky table type place. I'd recommend just getting everything to go.Overall, pretty great pizza joint and I'm sure I'll be back soon (for takeout going forward)

This is a fairly new restaurant in Martinez Downtown. We had lunch there as a party of 5, 3 adults & two kids.It seemed to be under staffed, but service was good.The menu had a good choice of items & all of us enjoyed our meals.The decor had several references to Frience, Italy.We will be going there, again.

Desserts are a 5, entrees and apps 3.5/4.The eggplant parm could use more sauce, the bread and butter was surprisingly a little disappointing. Pizza could've used a little more umph.Service was polite and pleasant. I would give it another try to explore different items on the menu.
