First time visiting on recommendation from friend, who hosted lunch. I don't usually have Japanese fare for a meal, but this was exceptional! Just wish it were located closer to home. Food quality, selection a-plenty, prices commendable, service and atmosphere comforting! Wonderful eating experience.

Worst service. 2 times now they have gotten my order wrong. The lazy unfriendly staff don't make any effort to help or ensure ur order is right or that ur happy. Cute place but need a better staff!!! They changed owners in April and they are failing fast. Sorry to see them go...

The food here is fantastic. The lunch specials give you so much food, you won't leave hungry.
Food was okay but the waitress was quite rude. I was half way done eating and she puts a box and the bill on my table without even acknowledging me. Then I asked for another box and tempura sauce to go, she did the same thing. She wasn’t like that to the other table though.

This is my boyfriend and my go to place for sushi in the area !!! When ever he's leaving it up to me on where to go to eat he already knows we are going to be headed here!! It's very cozy and the staff are super nice and personable! It's got amazing prices for quite a lot of food I tend to always have a few pieces of my rolls to go!! It's very fresh and very very tasty!!!

Parking: Positive atmosphere with hip music. The space is large so you can definitely have a large party. Found it a little pricey, but it is in a neighborhood that a company neighborhood market. Would definitely return.

I've eaten here probably 25-30 times over 15+ years. It's good sushi, very fresh fish, high quality ingredients, made well. It is rather average in flavors, you're not going to find anything extraordinary or amazing but it's very good.
They probably have 8 to 10 tables in the restaurant and it feels a little cramped, they have added outdoor seating since covid, which is a nice option. Picking food up for pickup is a little awkward as you're standing over people as they're eating, it's tight.
I think this restaurant was key to opening up people's pallets to new foods from different cultures in Martinez. A huge blessing for sure!
