Been a customer since the Martinez location opened. Super burgers and fries today! Chiara was on top of the whole process: it’s not often when you can tell someone is really listening to the specs and asks the right questions (as well as super courteous). The kitchen then hit it out of the park….and I’m one picky old lady!
Dear Mr. Kinders, I have lived in Martinez for my whole life. Used to love coming to kinders. But the last couple times I came the customer service was just NOT IT. We came right after the lunch rush so idk if they need more breaks afterwards so they aren’t so overwhelmed but something needs to happen. The girl that served us didn’t greet us, she rushed us to order and looked irritated that we didn’t know what we wanted quick enough. My husband ordered the ball tip and I ordered the protein bowl. From my understanding the ball tip usually comes warm/hot, this was cold deli meat. My husband of course ate it without a fuss because he’s non confrontational and he didn’t want me to bring it back up and crash out on her lack of customer service. We also are very good “tippers” and we left her a $0 tip because even while paying she didn’t say anything except “cash or card” my husband didn’t hear her ask so he pulled his card out and she said “okay I guess card then”. There is no need for such animosity over her speaking literally under her breath and expecting people to hear her. Don’t get me wrong, food is always tasty at kinders but maybe hiring people who actually like their job would be a better option. Hope this helps.
Great food and great service
Everything is always good here.
All in all its wasn’t a bad place. However what I was expecting versus what I walked out with ware sadly not the same. I went with the Ball Top sandwich large size. I guess I was expecting something to write home about and knock my senses out of the ball park, however for the price point of just over $17 I felt rather let down. The flavor and overall concept were good , it’s just that it could have had more meat on it.Please keep in mind that This was my take away and Iam in no way telling anyone not to try it out and form your own opinions.
Haley was very sweet and had amazing service 100% recommend
Great selection of og sandwiches this what a real deli is supposed to be . Traveling from out of town will definitely be back halei helped me make the right choice
I purchased a salad, with bbq beef. It's the sorriest salad on the planet. It looks nothing like the picture. Wilted lettuce, 4 sliced paper-thin soggy tomatoes, with 4 paper thin slices of cucumber. $17.00 worth of garbage.
MEAT HAS NO BBQ FLAVOR AT ALL...
shame on you Kinders :(

Chain Resteraunt with counter service. I had the brisket sandwich for $16. No sides just sandwich. The size was large the brisket was very tender and generous portion. On the down side: my bread was cold and refrigerator cold as opposed to room temperature but detracted from sandwich. Nobody wants an ice cold bun. Second issue, the use of mayonnaise on the sandwich. How does bbq and mayo complement each other? How about the mayo sucks the flavor out of the sandwich. Third issue my sandwich had a massive slab of fat. Typically the brisket is cooked with enough fat to keep it juicy during the long cooking but I sure didn’t want to be served so much pure fat which translates to poor trimming of the brisket. Too bad as the brisket was tender and had a nice crust and could have been a great sandwich

Found this place because all other restaurants in this shopping center were closed and I'm glad I found it. DELICIOUS food. BBQ sauce is awesome.

Fast service, good food, good price, they have a "frequent flyer card" and a military discount of 15 percent
Parking: There was not a lot of parking in front of Kinders, but I have been fortunate to find parking relatively close.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are a couple of handicapped parking spots, but they are virtually always in use when I have been there.

I'm going to chalk it up to being close to closing when I went. I got the beef and it was tough with not much flavor but the chicken was really good. Beans were so so. The barbeque sauce was good. I'm new in this area and I will probably try them again just early in the day.
Dietary restrictions: I asked if the beans had any type of meat but the lady at the register didn't know but the kitchen staff told her they were vegetarian beans
