Dear Krystal,

As the owner of Maret & Main, I hope this message finds you well. We recently purchased two tickets to attend your R&B Brunch at Bentley's on December 15th, but we were deeply disappointed by the experience. Below are the key concerns we encountered:

Ticket Checking Process: The lady responsible for checking tickets left around 11:50 AM, even though the event started at 11:00 AM. After that, individuals who hadn’t purchased tickets were able to enter freely. This was highly unfair to those of us who paid for entry.

Food Purchase and Service: Upon entry, the same lady handed us a menu and explained that the event was supported by a few food vendors, and we were encouraged to purchase food from them. Having just had breakfast, we still decided to support the event and spent $50 on Japanese cuisine. However, the wait was exceedingly long, and we almost decided to cancel the order. It was only after a kind and patient server reassured us repeatedly that we finally received our food. Additionally, we ordered two cocktails during the event.

Entertainment Quality: We were expecting to enjoy R&B music from the 1970s, but instead, we were subjected to chaotic and disorganized sounds from the instruments. The performance fell far short of our expectations and was a significant letdown.

In total, we spent over $120 on this event, and unfortunately, we left feeling not only disappointed but also misled. We strongly request a full refund for the two tickets we purchased (Order #11298533493) and hope you will address these issues to improve future events.

We appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,

Ms. Overall

I had a crab sandwich from upstairs during brunch. It was nice, hot, and fresh!
Bar upstairs was cool! Smooth Tequila!
Ice cream spot downstairs was also great...One stop shot for it all

Did taco Tuesday at Shuck it and drinks at the Shipwreck. Tacos were ok, al pastor was dry. Chicken was better. The margaritas were really small and weak for $5 even if it was a taco Tuesday deal. Lots of flies buzzing around the seating area too

Been here a couple times to get the vegan options they offer at a select two places here and both places are great! The place is truly brilliant, the ladies that put it together did well. Honestly having more friendly ice-cream girls would change everything, they are who you see and look like they should be at an emo concert than anywhere in the public, they NEVER smile and stare at you when you eat and make faces when they think you are not looking at you. Truly off putting. Honestly I did not think to mention them until I did and I am just sour, I mean it is a handful of times if not more that I encounter them walking by or dining and it is always tragic. Anyway, other than that, Love it here!

This review is specifically for Smash Burger. Came specifically here to try the Smash Burgers. Horrible service. We got there at 12:10pm, was told they open at 12:30pm, so we walked away and came back around 12:32pm. My daughter was told by the cook there was 5 people who ordered ahead of us then walked away and ignored her. I went over there to ask what the deal was and she just ignored me. Will never go here again.

Ended getting pizza from the pizza place and they had good service.

Hella Sushi is hella good! For real some of the best I’ve had in the Bay Area and definitely in Martinez. Market and Main trying hard to make it seem like you’re not in a suburban version of an airport food court but gotta dock some stars for atmosphere. Too bright and way too loud with two to three different selections of music and insanely bright lighting on a Saturday night really killing the vibe.

A lot of different food options to choose from. The tables were dirty and food scraps were all over the floor. I would not go back.

I wish there was a way to write this review Just for Hella Sushi. People need to know about them!! They've been in business for a week and I need them to stick around. Their sushi rolls taste as good as they look. They're layered with flavor and high quality product. Ben is personable, knowledgeable, and has a passion for sushi. He's always making something new and delicious. Go around the corner where the gift shop used to be and say hi to Ben for me!

This place has a lot of potential. My main gripe is that the music it just too loud. Two different radios playing at once. We wanted to eat up in the bar and get some food but ended up leaving after 1 drink. Just not very relaxing.
