Okini Sushi is my sister's favorite place, she often goes there for lunch, and during a recent visit my husband and I took her there for dinner, twice! The wait staff always recognized her and greeted her warmly, the food was delicious enough to go back for more, and the atmosphere was perfect for this neighborhood restaurant. We drove there twice even though it's a good 40 minutes from my sister's house so you know it has to be good!

My husband’s family was in the restaurant business for decades, and this place is a gem by our very high standards.
The sushi is always high quality and very fresh. The donburi is the best I have ever eaten, and so very authentic Japanese. The ton katsu is always perfectly fried and never soggy.
The restaurant is always clean, and staff are friendly. We’d eat there every night if we could!
Vegetarian options: Rolls with no fish.
Dishes can be ordered without meat.
Dietary restrictions: Let the waiter know you need gluten free options and they can help you with your order.
Chirashi Don is a donburi without seaweed, so it is gluten free.
If you dine-in, bring your own soy sauce that is gluten free. They don’t usually carry gluten free soy sauce.
Parking: If you want parking next to the front door, it’s limited. But the rest of the parking lot is vast, if you can walk more than 10 feet to the front door.
This place is great ! Okini roll is top notch. Seaweed salad is always great. So attentive, food is fast and fresh. Made my reservation through Google, super easy and convenient.
