Their service here today was very poor and my friend ordered the Italian sandwich and she said it was way too salty and she asked for a sausage replacement for the inside of the sandwich which they charged her for the sausage but after she complained they took it off I had the hangover hash which seemed to be a mess of a bunch of hot and cold ingredients with egg and bacon and braised beef. I had an upset tummy after I ate there so I probably won't be back which is a shame because it is a nice restaurant but between our server who was painting his nails at the counter and then just totally forgetting about us and had to wait almost 30 minutes for our bill I just don't think it's worth the money.

Expensive but its a good experience and good food. Got the beef short ribs, wouldn't recommend. Tried the lemon chicken and pumpkin ravioli which were very good. Bread service is a must. If you like cooking ask to use the restroom, it requires you to go through the kitchen which is a great site to see. The person who sat us treated us very well.

Pleasantly surprised; unique menu selections with gluten free and vegan options. We had reservations for a large party, they are very capable in serving timely. We ordered the bread service that offers gluten free bread, so delicious.Appetizer size portions are large. I ordered a vegan, gluten free eggplant lasagna that was delicious! Everything beautifully aesthetically pleasing. Outdoor and indoor seating. Street parking.

Our new local favorite! Parking can be tricky on Main Street, especially on weekends so plan ahead for finding some! (Weather permitting, Main street is closed off in the evenings so the business can serve outside) Reservations are highly recommenced. Papi's has a small dining area 10 -12 tables and one counter area for 4.They serve Brunch, Lunch and Dinner. We have had Lunch and Dinner here and the food is always amazing. We recommend the Bread Board and specialty cheeses. Nice presentation with wonderful wine pairings.The staff is friendly and hospitable. A great date night place and place for friends to meet!

terrible service i felt neglected at all times i had heard not so good things about this place from my friends in the past but i don’t like to judge a book by it’s cover so i went to experience it myself and they were totally right. the food did not taste fresh and i found a light brown hair in my food and my hair is black, after going up to the employee and explaining to them what happens they said they could make me another meal but it was going to cost .

Papi's is such a cute little restaurant in downtown Martinez. We decided to try it on a whim (in the mood to try something new outside our hood) and were so happy we did. Loved all the veggie options, and all the food tasted really freshly prepared. Dessert was delish - the waitress suggested the cinnamon bun special - so good! Even our wine was great. We're already talking about when we'll go back next!
