This is my go-to for Thai. Regardless of what youre looking for the flavors here are near perfect. The restaurant is clean and the service is always great, fast and friendly. The selections on the menu are wide and everything is fresh and adequately seasoned. If you like your food on the spicy side dont forget to ask for their spice caddy to bring all the flavors together for the full experience. Recommended dishes would of course start with their shrimp fresh rolls, the lemongrass or ginger chicken, any of their curries, the pad eggplant if youre trying to be good and definitely try the duck or the crispy trout if youre not. Would I return? Any chance i get.

Food was so good! One of the best Thai places around. The yellow curry is delicious. The Tom Kha soup is spot on. The spring rolls are delicate and vibrant. The bbq beef is exactly what you would want. The staff is very nice. The restaurant is nice, plenty of seating and makes you feel at home. Will certainly be back!

Really amazing food. Nice wooden decor and Thai art. Food was really balanced, great spice and authentic. Owner was really nice and we tried the crunch fried rice (nam khao tod), pad Thai, pad kee mao (drunken noodle), duck fried rice. Thai coffee was great taste too. Pleasant spot in the middle of Martinez.

This place is consistently good Thai food. I usually get the pad Thai or the drunken noodle, the yellow curry and the cucumber salad. It's not spicy unless you request it but overall I haven't had a bad experience here. Really good food

Once again I'm in Martinez, so I came back to Ginger Thai for my lunch. The fried shrimp rolls were awesome and delicious. If you eat it right away, you will feel its juiciness; this I'll recommend. Rad Na was also good if you like flat noodles with gravy. Give it a try. Service was good with a very nice touch of the waitress 10/10 for her attention. Ambient is always good, I took some photos and added to this review.

I came for an early lunch on a weekday and it was completely empty inside, but I nevertheless had a great meal of pad kee mao. A nice aperitif of flavorful broth with some veggies and tofu was brought gratis, which was a warm touch on a cool and drizzly day. The entree came out quickly with intense sweet-spicy flavor and tasted fresh. Green beans were nicely blistered and carrots were cooked to tenderness unlike some restaurants that are impatient and give you undercooked, hard carrots. The meat in the dish was pretty average, not particularly tender or flavorful, so that would be my only reservation especially if ordering a curry. But, I would come here again.

Consistently delicious every time we visit or get takeout! One of the best and most affordable Thai restaurants in the East Bay. All the generally considered popular Thai dishes they offer are fantastic.

Came here during Super Bowl Sunday night. Great food. The salmon curry was delicious. The Tom Yum noodle soup was great. Authentic taste. Friendly staff and owner. Clean and welcoming restaurant.

First time visit because reviews looked awesome and was craving Thai food. Arrived for dinner last night around 7:50 PM. No customers were dining in. No staff present to greet us. We grabbed menus sat ourselves then we were greeted about 7mins later with “dining in?” No apology, nothing… they close at 9pm by 8:30pm they were turning off lights, sweeping, mopping, and we pretty much got the hint that they were trying to leave and close early. Tried to order dessert, but sticky rice w/mango they said mango was not sweet. At the end of meal, I wanted to use the restroom It was 843pm I was told I could not because they had mopped and the floors were wet back there. So we’re basically getting pushed out out of the restaurant before they closed. Unprofessional. Food was delicious, but the hospitality was not there at all And we felt very rushed. Upset that I left a tip, shouldn’t have left anything.

I've only gotten take out here, and it's all been really good. I think the Tom kha soup is one of the best I've ever had. It's amazing! The people I've met there have been very welcoming. They are easy to find across from the old train station in historic downtown and they have a small parking lot.
