I say American dollar because this was such a rip off...Food=Pork ribs...zero flavor 3 score/only cause it was the best of the three meatsBrisket... 1 score/ because WOW, THE ABSOLUTE MOST DRY UNFLAVORFUL meat I've ever had in my life. Not too mention two pieces for three adults WOW unbelievableLinks... 2 score/ zero juice to them, literally nothing good to say about themThat was the meat... Here the sides!Beans... 1 score/ Omgoodness not good, not gonna lie I ate them but literally added BBQ sauce from my fridge to them (sauce score is after sides) incredibly ketchup flavored and beans were undercooked, shamefulMac n cheese... 1 score/ ok ok ok this is sad, the flavor is straight Kraft flavored although kraft itself is better than Slow Hand Mac n cheeseSweet potato tots... 2 score/ the sound of them is better than the actual dish. Was very disappointed to see they were soggy and moist BTW I took these items to go... I literally live approximately one block from Main Street, so the drive was 2 minutesSauces... 0 score/ if you've read this far youve read that I've been gracious enough to give scores between 1-10 but the sauce at SlowHand is a zero... One sauce is a ketchup based sauce or at least thats all I taste, while the other is a molasses style sauce both equally as undesirable... As I previously mentioned I used ketchup from my own home to offset the beans nasty sauce and to give the meats some moisture and flavor.Overall, as my order was completed the gentleman whilst a nice kid accidentally brought my food out on a tray. Realizing it was to go, bagged the order and I was gleefully leaving the business hopeful to fulfill my desire for BBQ... And considering the place was packed I was sure it was going to be a great meal.WRONG it was the worst BBQ experience EVER.If you know BBQ then you would understand this statement I'm about to write.The BBQ joints that give out plain white bread with meals are not only better but this joint doesn't even compare.I was burned over 60 dollars for food that was not good on so many levels.

I normally see Martinez from the water while going somewhere other than here or there to plunk little things in the water in hope of catching bigger things. But, today I have been sent on a mission, a mission of mercy, that's right Pilgrim, a mission of mercy for babyback ribs from the Slow Hand BBQ in Martinez.My old pal Fiddycal Bigbore is going down for the count because his tubbutt squeeze went and sold his fishin boat when he wasn't lookin!And, he ain't going to do nothin because she's as mean as a poked bobcat! But he's gonna get even by eating a batch of babyback ribs from the Slow Hand BBQ, and he's not sharing with her! Fiddy says they're the best BBQ ribs ever! And I gotta pick um up because he's to upset about the boat. He got his bones, and ate them right in front of Tunia and she was spittin fire! I'll tell you, I wouldn't have missed it! And those babyback ribs....he said they were Amazing! ☆☆☆☆☆
We went for dinner to this location on Wednesday night and it was packed . They had karaoke music and it was lots of fun . Food was amazing and servers were super nice and caring . We definitely will go back . We were 10 of us and we used the patio with nice heaters.

I’ve been trying to come here for a while. Every time they are full, which is not a problem, that means they have good food and good atmosphere. Well I finally got to try today, ?, great food, great staff and friendly environment. My kids love their Mac n Cheese which is a plus because not all kids are down for BBQ. My 5 year old thinks their fries are better than McDonalds lol. Worth to check out and try, you won’t be disappointed. ??
I really enjoyed this place. The food was pleantious. The employees were great! They place was nice. I got a sampler that had brisket, baby backs and St. Louis Ribs. My server suggest it. Tye sauces weren't overpowering, but I felt, they lacked “zest” or panache. The meat was juicy with a dry rub. This place wouldn't be a bad choice for lunch or dinner. With help this invested in their job, it sure beats a ton of restaurants on taste, cost and enjoyable experience. I didn't have room for desert, which is remarkable.

It's not that good I really don't understand how this place has 4 stars the sides tasted weird, the bbq sauce tasted weird, the brisket was OK, so was chicken meat is the best thing they do, which is funny considering it's a bbq place BUT the bathroom was dirty and reeked like piss felt like I was in a gas station bathroom :/ (yes I know it's a bathroom but like seriously I think someone peed on the floor cus that smell was not normal mkay) staff was nice though

The quality has slipped, the food is salty. I got the beef ribs special which is one of the more expensive meals on the menu and it was dry. Like crunchy dry. On the plus side they do allow dogs which is good because you will be feeding your dog your
