I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing team at Starbucks in Virginia Hills Shopping Center. Every time I visit, the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Everybody always greets me with a smile and goes above and beyond to make sure my drink is perfect. The store is consistently clean, the atmosphere is cozy, and I can tell the team works really well together. It’s clear they care about both the customers and the quality of the service. Thank you all for making my work from home days better—I really appreciate you!

Only 3 people working both the counter and drive through at 5 pm on a weekday. We’ve all been waiting well over 20 mins for our drinks at this point. I don’t even want my coffee this late in the day, when and if it’s ever ready. I think if you’ll have more than a five minute wait for your drink, they really need to let you know before you place an order. Even a sign at the front counter that alerts the customer that they’re backed up would be quite helpful.

Whatever big guy is working in the mornings , needs to get his S*** together and actually help customers instead of wasting time. If we come early for coffee and NO ONE IS LINE there is no reason I should be waiting 5 mins just to get help with a tea! It’s been more than once that has happened. If you don’t like your job GET A NEW ONE. You work in customer service

Things used to be out relatively quickly. More recently though it feels like things take forever to come out. Orders used to be ready for pickup when I get there after I place a mobile order, but now it ends up taking up to 10 minutes after the pickup time the app tells me, making me late for other things

Theres no reason to wait 20 minutes for a coffee. There was 1 person in front of us yet they were able to serve more than 12 cars in the drive through. They are basically encouraging people not to come inside. Wont make that mistake again. Will just go to the other Starbucks 🤷🏻♀️

The service is very slow. The persons (there are several) who take orders don’t seem to have any ability to multitask. The guys making drinks are pumping out drinks and they are lined up on the counter, but the server just disappears for 5 + minutes at a time. My drink was lukewarm and only 3/4 full. This location needs to have a manger on site because 3 out of 4 times this is my experience. I won’t be going back

Check the lids on your cups. Mine flipped off when handed to me. The guy at the window seemed annoyed. Make sure you get what you paid for. My coffee was a little over half full, and it was a Vente.

Molly at this location is the most amazing friendly & helpful barista. She is always a ray of sunshine even when super busy. She’s a master at multi-tasking & quick. Always smiling and makes it such a pleasant experience. What a delightful person. Her barista skills are excellent, & she makes a great start to my day. Thank you Molly!

I’m newer to the area and thought I found a good SBUX but no, not at all. Outside of my first few visits, my drinks have always been wrong and unsatisfactory unless ONE barista makes them. The customer service is subpar and they lack the Starbucks Flare.

This Starbucks is alright. I love the atmosphere of it for getting work done, but there’s only a few comfortable tables, for that. Many are comfortable enough just to sit and have your food on it. They also have a pretty large amount of outdoor seating. I understand that they get busy a lot, but their bathrooms are terrible. The communal sink rarely has soap. There is constantly fecal matter on the floor of their bathrooms and they’re just not clean. They also aren’t that good at making drinks. I’ve watched some of the baristas make my drinks, and I’m talking about when there’s no rush, and it feels so careless. Obviously, an employee isn’t always going to be giving 100% when they’re met with constant armies of orders, but it feels like oftentimes rushing from that time translates a bit too much. There’s an abundance of Starbucks anywhere in this area. Go somewhere else if you want fast service. I recommend the Palos Verdes/Geary and Camino Verde one instead.
