This winery is one of my favorites—not just for the delicious wine, but because the scenery is incredible. The outdoor seating area is so relaxing, with beautiful views in every direction. The tasting room has a warm, rustic feel that makes you want to stay awhile. If you love good wine and a great atmosphere, this place is a perfect pick!!
Viano winery has the cutest family and the most thoughtful staff. I would come here 1000 times.
We love family-run Viano Winery. The staff are very friendly and know the wine. The red wines are very good, including their Zinfandel, Sangiovese and Valdiguié. We live nearby and visit a few times per year.
Friendly family owned and operated vineyard with some very good wines at very reasonable prices.
Great to visit a family owned winery that was very accessible to where we were staying. We enjoyed sitting outside with room for a little person to explore. Well worth a visit.
Great wine, very friendly. Also great lemons, apples too.
Delicious wine at such reasonable prices. Especially good port.
We had no expectations for this winery, just noticed that it was in the area where we were going to be that day. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I am a fan of dessert wines, and thought theirs were very good. My companions liked some of their other wines as well. Nice picnic bench area to sit, sample, and chat. It's not a fancy, upscale winery, but it is definitely worth a visit. We'll be back!
Good times. They waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle.
Lovely place for wine tasting. Friendly people and the wines were very good. Give them a call and pre book the tasting. Almost forgot to mention the two lovely pups, who appreciates if you throw the ball.

Great place to have some wine and have a family picnic.
Sweet 6th generation Italian family winery in Martinez with 100 yr old vine zin. Contra Costa should embrace some of the reds.
Great experience, wines were smooth, ports are delicious.
Nice little winery tucked between houses. View is amazing and the staff is lovely. Wine is also good.
Such a lovely spot and not pretentious at all. Set in Martinez, no need to drive up to the valley for excellent wine!
