The food was great, but the service was lacking. Orders are placed via QR code, and my companion’s meal took an unusually long time, making it seem forgotten. I also ordered a $3 iced tea, which had no free refills, and my jungle juice, though delicious, took several minutes to arrive. Good service and atmosphere, but basic tasting food. I've been here a few times, and it's consistently generic. With the high prices and basic flavor, it's slightly off-putting.

If you ever have to go to court (or even if you don’t!), Vic’s in Martinez is the perfect spot to stop afterward. Their waffles are seriously to die for. And for those who are gluten-free—not by choice, like my sister-in-law—they have amazing “hipster toast” that she absolutely loves.
