The baked goods are ridiculously delicious and the owner could not be more gracious. She works very hard and does it with a smile. Everything is homemade and the coffee is delicious.

Wonderful coffee shop within the old McCloud Hotel. The wood floors and bead board walls and ceiling make you feel that you're back in the 1940s. Great service. The pastries and sandwiches are made in-house (I asked), so you can sip, nibble, and relax.

Traci stayed open on a closed day to take care of our group. Third time here, always great service, good lattes, warm atmosphere. If you’re in the area I recommend stopping here, even if you don’t want coffee.

I’d give more than five stars if I could!! Walked over from our campground and they had exactly what we needed. Great fresh hot food, delicious coffee, and probably the best lemon bar I’ve had in years. Cozy atmosphere, very welcoming. Definitely stop in!!

Spill the Beans is a local treasure in McCloud. All of the baked goods are made in house and everything is amazing. The quality is amazing. My favorites are the scones but the cakes and donuts and churros and puff pastries and muffins and cupcakes are all incredible. I wish I lived closer… the atmosphere is great and the old McCloud Mercantile building is like walking into the past. Finally, the service is excellent and I always feel made so welcome when I come for breakfast. If you come to McCloud you must visit Spill the Beans.

I wish i could give more stars...Spill the Beans provided breakfast and lunches for the caregivers' retreat I just attended. Our 2 days at the McCloud Mercantile Hotel were perfect, and the food from Spill the Beans was the cherry on top of the sundae. We had vegans in our group, and she went out of her way to create delicious and nutritious and fun options, both salad and non-salad, so that our dietary needs were met. Her vegan brownies were amazing! Her food exceeded my expectations, and I eagerly look forward to my next trip to McCloud so that I can stop in and enjoy the awesome Spill the Beans café. Thank you for everything you did for us!!

Stop by this hidden gem for coffee and freshly baked pastries (recommend the taste blondie) made by the friendly staff. If you're hungry for more than sweets, they serve breakfast sandwichs (biscuit was good, going to try the English muffin next) and breakfast burritos, or a healthy salad.
