The rudest, most ignorant & obnoxious manager and staff I've encountered in my 3 months in the U.S.!!Awful experience. Food OK,but better options in Mendocino.

Amazing food, every ingredient worked perfectly with the other. Had a nice ocean view on their warm covered patio. Can't wait to return.

Had lunch there, didn't stay.Food was delicious and the restaurant is beautifully decorated, it's like sitting in a garden which is roofed. Can only recommend it - not that cheap but very much worth it.

Trillium welcomed us into the restaurant even though we did not have reservations. We chose to eat under the tent and loved the tranquil atmosphere of eating alfresco amongst the fairy lights. The tall heaters provided a nice warmth for a crisp night. The service was great and the food was good.

Restaurant ONLY, Not with a roomTLDR: Quiet and quick service restaurant with quality matched in food and presentationThe Trillium Inn Cafe is one of many choices in Mendocino. You are greeted and quickly taken to either inside or a garden like outdoor table.Bread fresh from the oven is quickly provided with what tastes like small batch butter. I could speak more of how much I liked the bread, but won't.The menu is both diverse and limited with seafood,Veggie/Vegan, and meat selections. The drink menu is biased to the wine lover. This is not something I can not comment as we don't drink wine. There is a selection of regional non-wine beverages which were greatWe had the Warm Spinach salad and the pork chop. The chutney on top complimented the pork chop nicely.Desert choices were tempting, but went with house made tangerine sorbet and cookie. The sorbet was wonderfully frozen but soft throughout eating it.Service was both friendly and efficient. Not checking the table too frequently, but quick to offer options when ordering and on desert.Would I recommend, YES. Would we come back? Definitely.

Food & drinks: We have eaten here several times over the years always good food and service. Last week we did take out and the lady on the phone was a bit short tempered and the menu on their website had not been updated so it made it a little more difficult. The ribeye was not worth $50. very fatty and only about a 1/4 inch think. The Mushroom Risotto was very good.

This is a review of the restaurant. Stellar. Such good food. Good service. Really good salad and tacos (both mushroom and fish tacos were excellent)

This review is just for the restaurant and not the rooms. We had lunch here and the food is very fresh and well prepared, although slightly under seasoned.
