“Excellent visit. Early in the day, I had the Ahi Poké bowl. The fish was very fresh, tasty, and fantastic. Being right on the ocean I expected the quality of the fish to be top notch. I was not disappointed. My dish was freshly made at the time of order, rummy, the presentation was top notch, and I was immensely pleased. We returned for dinner and the experience was more of the same. My wife got the vegan ramen and I got the spicy wings. Yep, goodness to go. We ate while watching the sunset”

“This is the deal in Mendo. Pretty good food at relatively low prices for the area. Lunch for 3 same price as one pizza at Frankie’s. Happy hour lunch is great deal. Good choice of draft beers. Can usually get a table for small party; def can’t hold large party inside although garden in good weather can fit more.”

“The pizza is a thin Napolitan pizza-like dough but with very Californian toppings, rustic dough and refreshing pairings. There are smash burgers on the menu Wed-Thu.

The best part of the occasion, though, is a truly lovely garden where one eats on tables spread over the landscape. The surroundings create a memorable experience.”

“Beautiful cafe tucked away down a side street. Lovely and inviting interior as well as a relaxing garden outside. We had the poblano breakfast burrito and I'm not kidding when I say it was the best breakfast burrito I ever had. Homemade tortilla, a perfect balance of egg to potatoe ratio, the poblano was roasted and the flavor was subtle yet delicious. The coffee drinks were also amazing. We'll be back to try more pastries. Had the blueberry scone and I wish I knew the reciepe. 😋🌯🙏🏾”

I strongly recommend Bay View Coffee Company for their friendliness and expertise. Their shop is clean and inviting. “My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at Trillium on Aug 11 and it was one of the highlights of our experience in Mendocino. The hostess that night had an amazing bouquet of flowers waiting for my wife at our table. She was incredibly thoughtful and my wife can’t stop raving about them. Next, the service was welcoming, exceptional and timely. Finally, the food was prepared perfectly. And the star of the night was the coffee! Wow. Thank you to the staff for creating a wonderful atmosphere and experience for a special milestone in our lives!”

“We ordered takeout from here, and the food was very good. Pleasantly surprised at how good the falafel was! They also have Cowlick’s ice cream which is one of the best ice creams we have ever had so you don’t have to drive back to Fort Bragg for it.”

“I enjoyed every meal of our dinners at Ravens. The food is creative, delicious, and attractively presented. Most nights my daughter and I each got a small plate, followed by a large plate. One night we even indulged in dessert. The food is rich in vegetables and many other healthy ingredients, and is low oil and not fried. Our favorite small plate was the kale stack, and favorite large plate was the sea palm. As we roamed nearby parks, we were quite attuned to all the sea palms growing on rocks near shore. Ravens sources their sea palm locally, so we might have been looking at someone's future dinner. The portions are generous, and every night we took enough food back to our room for lunch the next day.”

“Cafe Jaavy is a lovely little place with delicious food, coffee drinks and smoothies. I love the panuchos and get them every time I am in Fort Bragg. My husband loves the breakfast burrito and the chorizo breakfast plate. This place is popular, so don't be surprised to have to wait to get a seat, but it us so worth the wait. Very friendly and attentive staff. We are headed to Fort Bragg this week and we will be visiting Cafe Javvy as soon as we can after we arrive.”

“Best fish & chips I've ever had, hands down. The fish was FRESH and falling apart in my hands, and being battered & fried didn't hide the taste at all like it sometimes can. It came with tartar sauce and malt vinegar, and thick fries like steak fries. Our group was starving after our Skunk Train outing and this really hit the spot. Loved the outdoor seating (the smells of the fire pit & ocean together brought back happy beach camping memories) and several little kids in our seating area were thrilled & delighted by the pushy seagulls begging for scraps, which was fun to watch. Five happy stars from me. :)”

“Tall Guy Brewing is hands down the most enjoyable sit down/lounging family friendly brewery in All of California(not an understatement). The music, kindness of the bartenders and relaxed environment formulates the absolutely perfect evening place for my son and I to sit down, have dinner, listen to music and make new friends. I would love to see such a magical place expand in any way possible. The world needs more of this.”
