Garden Bakery is tucked away in the midst of a backyard garden and is one of few coffee shops open in Mendocino Village (and to its credit, the only one that's open "late" until 4:30 pm). I thought this bakery was a great find, tucked away in a quiet and shady garden. The peach and vanilla custard danish was delicious! There were some additional danishes and some cookies available, plus coffee and tea. A sweet spot to visit on my next trip to Mendocino!

We go to the Garden Bakery pretty much every time we’re in town. We’ve tried almost everything they make. Love the pastries. The burritos and egg bites are also delicious. Can’t really go wrong with anything you choose. Service is good and everyone is friendly. Very comfy feeling inside and outside. We highly recommend you give it a try.
