Best Food I’ve had from Mendota, it was so good that after I got done I had to give them a review for doing a great job, I am daily customer now& greatly recommend this restaurant to family,friends& those looking for a quick bite! They do make your food from scratch so don’t expect it to be like a fast food joint very worthy!

The truth is that the pupusas are good but don't be so miserable, they want to charge you for the sauce and curtido for the pupusas and they have a high price and so they don't give sauce or curtido. Don't forget that pupusa without curtido and sala is not pupusa. And no, gentlemen, a 2-ounce bottle is not for 3 pupusas as you say.

One of the very best Tex-Mex places in Los Angeles. Outdoor patio, Modelo Negra, great food and perfect chips and salsa. Open til 3AM !!!!!

Went here with a group of friends. They were very accommodating and we had great service. The decor is very rustic and the live fire and large comal is a nice touch as well as functional! They make fresh flour and corn tortillas for your order. I had the carnitas platter and it was perfectly cooked. Would definitely go back again. Mexican rice was in point and the salsa was hot but delicious. Fantastic Mexican spot that won’t disappoint.
