Three stars overall. The curtido and sauce definitely need to be improved. If it is for price they are sacrificing quality for low price and that kills business. Tanning. We tried them for the first time two years ago and the quality has dropped a lot. The attention is cold and indifferent. The amount of the product inside the pupusa is barely noticeable, it is barely spread. It was definitely our last time. Notice in the photo the pupusa we brought home and the amount of dough and the little product.
Very clean place inside & outside, well arranged where they serve you a variety of dishes. I stopped here for the pupusas which is my favorite Salvadorian dish. The people tending the place were amicable & welcoming and had a very positive vibe to them. I ordered a pair of pupusas along with two Pacifico beers and it was very satisfying after a long day of driving. Mendota California rules! USA

I had really low expectations when I walked into this restaurant. The chips were kinda stale, and the salsa kinda bland. But I was pleasantly surprised that my wet Carne Asada, and shrimp Burrito was actually really good. . The red sauce on top was just the right amount of spice. Not too hot to eat, but just the right amount of spice to make your mouth tingle.
