Has a lot of goofy crap on the walls but the food is good. Not sure who the place is geared towards.They seem to sell crap at the front of the store like a weird cracker barrel. But they also seem to have like the seniors style of food and old school stuff. Not saying this place is bad just so so out dated. But maybe that was the goal.... But if you want a solid mean with all the portions are solid. You won't leave hungry. Dessert is also on point.
I came in today and it was very busy, I ordered myself some breakfast and a coffee. The food was good the portions are big and are worth the price. My server was Vane and she was very polite and with a really great attitude, asking me how my day was, if I needed anything else, etc. She got my food out very quickly and I will definitely be back and request her.
Food was ok but what really made this a 5 star visit was Kayla. I've been coming to Black Bear Diner for a little while now for both breakfast and dinner and I have to say Kayla is one of the best servers I've ever had. Unlike other servers at this restaurant she took the time to get to know me; my name, she asks about my family and job, she even has my order memorized! As much as I love coming in the morning for breakfast, I never get this kind of service in the morning....
