The food has gone way down hill. We’ve been eating here for 20+ years. It’s been a while since we’ve been but we went today and the food was different, not as it used to be. Their sweet n sour sauce has changed and it’s horrible. Idk what happened but they need to go back to the OG way.

Food was terrible ! 😞 beef n broccoli the beef tasted like freezer burn and these noodles tasted as they were overly oiled . I’m super bummed I use to like coming here til now . Not even soy sauce could save the day. My whole meal gone in the trash I couldn’t even eat it .

We really noticed a huge improvement with the good during this visit. My husband hasn't been liking it for a while..but we were to tired to cook and to tired to drive far to get food. So we decided to just go to Cathay. Our son and his wife were visiting and we were all pleasantly surprised at how good the good was. We all thought maybe they hired someone new... something happend and its back to being the best Chinese food in this area. This area does not have many good Chinese food options. In fact this area doesn't have the greatest food options period. 🤷🏻♀️ Come on Menifee/Winchester you can do better. We have more than enough McDonald's, Jack n the Box, and Del Tacos. Can we get some different options. Maybe even a couple Vegan options for those of us trying to eat healthier. Just a thought 🤔💭

Love their Egg Foo Yun. You have to wait a few minutes for it because they make it to order every time. And it is so worth it! It's usually very busy, but take out is always an option.
Beef chow mein had no beef, no bean sprouts and a few pieces of cabbage.
Wow great service

Service is bad.. i ordered sour soup and they packed it for to go. And when I asked why it’s not on the bowl they said I need to pay extra for that.

Located on Antelope & Newport Roads in the Ralph's shopping center, by Ross with plenty of parking.
This is a fast-Chinese food restaurant where you pick your items at the counter, buffet style (which is what I was looking for). I'm surprised to see so many bad reviews, which makes no sense.
I had their 2-item combo with 'BBQ Pork, Orange Chicken, Fried Rice, and Lo Mein'. Their BBQ Pork was very tender and the Orange Chicken was actual chunks of chicken which were not extremely battered and fried like the common recipe. The Lo Mein and Fried Rice were a bit bland for my taste, but they complemented the meat perfectly because they were so tasty, and delicious!
Prices are very reasonable, and portions are big. Service was fast and efficient even though I went during busy hours this Saturday evening.
There are a few tables inside and a couple of tables outdoors to enjoy your meal there.
I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other menu items.
Was helped by Edwin. Very helpful, friendly, informative and patient while I ordered. Food was delicious with good size portions for the price.
The food is great as usual. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything is always super.
I used to live about a mile from Cathay's and probably ate there once a week. Now I live in Indiana and I miss this place so much. The food was always fresh and the owner very personable. There is nothing like it where I live now and Panda doesnt hold a candle to Cathay's.
