My husband and I ordered take out. 2 lbs of fried red snapper and hush puppies. I did the happy dance on my chair. The fish was a little spicier this time but it was really good. We visit this spot one or two times a month.

Such amazing food !!! 😍 My sons and I had lunch here today , we couldn't believe the professionalism and the good quality food we received. It is good to spend your money where you are treated good. We will definitely be coming back .

1st time here...the fries..bottom of the scale..no taste..flat..not worth buying
The sandwich the popular one..hardly worth mentioning.... These 2 items were the only things I had.. I would like to try just the fish next time..

I ordered the red snapper dinner for pickup. When I got home I wasn't sure what type of fish I had. At first glance I thought it was catfish, because I have never had red snapper without the skin on. I do not know what type of fish I had, it was dry and tasteless. The fish had been cooked too long and taste as if there wasn't any seasoning on it. A waste of my money.

I had to select a food item for recommendation before my review would be posted. Although I selected the hush puppies they were dry and tasted like warmed over hushpuppies from the day before

1st time there tonight. I was quite surprised. Usually fish place are very expensive and u always get "wish fish". That is u wish u got more fish... I had the grilled catfish. There was plenty and it was excellent. Some.of the fancy restaurants should go there and learn how to put actual flavor in the fish. The Mac n Cheese was very good too. We will definately be back

Cajun Catfish, fried okra, and collard greens were my faves! But the potions are really big so consider splitting a combo between two people. Not a complaint tho, I love leftovers!

It’s so awesome to have a seafood restaurant in Menifee Ca. They have a simple, yet filling menu. That staff were all beautiful 🙏. I would recommend this restaurant. From the people from #kettletothemetal kettle corn

The initial greeting was pleasant. However, there was no explanation about the combo meal that choose,no communication about the wait time. It was my first and last time dining there because I , after waiting so long I expected my food to be hot. Unfortunately, not only was it warm ,,not fresh,i should be entitled to a full refund.

A must when needing soulful fix. Our second time coming and food is fresh and tasty. Recommend the Shrimp and Grits. Staff are amazing and treat you like family.

I've been ordering delivery from here for a while and it always lives up to my expectations. I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to, especially after going inside and sitting down to eat there! So good! We were so lucky because they just finished making a fresh batch of cornbread and omg. It was literally the best cornbread I've ever had, and that's really saying a lot. I've been eating cornbread for 36 years and I've had cornbread from so many different places across the US. The service was also great, they are very warm and attentive. And the ambiance is casual but very clean. I truly love this place. It's so hard to find good soul food in this area so I am VERY grateful for a place like this in Menifee! One gentleman who sat next to us traveled from San Diego and it's not hard to see why. I LOVE Fishbone. We ordered fried Cajun catfish, Mac and cheese, hush puppies, candied yams, and cornbread. YUM! The sauce station was clean too. High recommended eating at this establishment.
