This was my first order. The food was good, especially the cornbread. The catfish was not as crispy as I like it, but it was good.

Ordered 1lb of Cajun catfish to go for $18.18 + tax. As you can see in the picture there’s 4 pieces and it’s not a pound. 1 piece averaged about 2.05 ounces. Just saying that you’re paying for an item and won’t receive It in full.

I loved this place so much! We was regulars when they opened. I always order the same dinner plate, grilled salmon with side of greens and yams. My routine was seasoning the salmon and greens at home since they lack some flavor and dig in, food would be enough for 2 whole meals. Went back today after a while. My husbands beans and rice was bad, the greens where bland and the portion sizes are not what they used to be. Unfortunately i don't think i will be going back.

Shrimp wasn’t cooked all the way. Gave them back and cashier said they were overcooked yet they were still grayish and rubbery. Red beans taste like canned beans, side orders were cold. I spent over 50 dollars on some raw shrimp and cold sides. I’m so disappointed! The fish was

I ordered from Fishbone on Sunday and they gave me 6 pics of Whiting and my sides but I order the same thing and today and got TWO pcs. I called and got attitude from the manager Jose if that is his name...so unprofessional. I need everyone to see the unprofessionalism. I just was calling to see why the difference in my order from the other day from today. I bet you they will delete my post so that I won't be heard.....but I have a lot of people that I have told them to order or told them to order that I will tell them about my experience so they they WILL NOT order anymore

Pricing is not bad at all .. clean inside ..and good service
Now the flavor is definitely not there .. the cat fish had no flavor and the greens were just ok … potatoe was a1 no flavor .. missing some ingredients

Today 6/9/25 was my first visit. The atmosphere was very nice with too big TV’s playing 60’s/70’s music (a little loud). I ordered the fish and shrimp combo that comes with two sides, a roll and a few hush puppies. I also ordered the shrimp and grits and peach cobbler. The catfish and shrimp were seasoned perfectly and crispy. The grits were super buttery (that’s how I like em). I cannot recommend the collard greens or yams. The greens are NOT cooked with any meat so that flavor was missing. The yams were cooked well but were not candied or sweet as I’m used to. The peach cobbler crust was very good. I gave 5 stars because the guy who took my order had great customer service. I told him I was dining in and the lady brought my meal out in a bag. I hope to try other sides next time.

The food is always hot. And it's flavorful. But make sure your pricing is correct before you pay. next thing you know you're paying additional money without knowing. For example when I wanted a two piece fish and it comes with one side. Then I'm asked if I want the roll or cornbread. I select cornbread and when doing so it's additional they don't tell you this. Just check your pricing before paying, Happy eating.
