What a find. The garlic cheese bread appetizer is incredible. Every single thing I’ve order from pizza to calzones to pasta has very tasty. I love the place

We went in for lunch today. It was busy, we sat down and left. We didn’t leave because it was busy, but we left because nobody greeted us. Not even a nod or smile.They were wiping down the table right by us too. I hate to say but we felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. Rude !

Sorry..but the food was horrible. No flavor at all. I had the garlic lemon chicken and chicken marsala. DON'T GET IT! The pizza my family had needed more salt...oddly because cheese is salty...not this cheese. Sorry to whoever owns the place BUT don't waste your money and taste buds.

I called to render a pizza with no cheese (DoorDash etc doesn’t offer that in their customer choices). They said to do it thru their website which I did at 6:30 pm, got a confirmation order number. At 7:15 I got a message saying Giovani’s didn’t confirm the order so it was cancelled}. Confused I recalled back got a very arrogant girl who was saying they stop doing take out orders at 7:00, I explained to her that my order was confirmed with order number at 6:30. I was just to reiterate what I was told by the original person, but she kept interrupting and rude, and very arrogant. I’ve been a customer there for many years and have never had a problem. I’ve recommended Giovanni’s to many people and no more. I can’t imagine having that woman being with restaurant patrons. We’ve owned two restaurants in Orange County, and behavior like that was tolerated.

My grandma got her purse stolen from one of the workers here. Stolen! We were told by staff that her purse got stolen from someone who worked there and it's happened a few times! Hire qualified workers! There's no cameras either. Food isn't that good either! There is lots of elderly in Menifee, so sad that this is happening! If the manager responds to my review I'd like to speak to him face to face.

I ordered a pizza for delivery which never arrived.
Apparently the driver of the outside delivery service took it.

I had left an upset & very unsatisfied review.

The owner graciously replied to my review and apologized!
That drive was fired.

I would like to give them another chance and THANK them for taking the time to reply to my review!

I've only ever had the pizza and there's a reason we keep coming back for takeout. They have the best pizza around hands down!!! Just be aware they are kind of stingy with the toppings, so order extra if that bothers you. Make sure to check your pizzas as well because we got the wrong order one time.

Their prices are about the same as Domino's and Papa John's but the quality is far superior.

Nice little family restaurant. Food has always been delicious and the prices are great. Laid back and family friendly. Not very fancy but worth a visit.

Just as an update All You can eat Pizza and Salad buffet including drink for 11.99 is back & dont forget the senior menu. The food is still good but service has gone down on my last two visit.

I recently realized I've never reviewed Giovanni's after eating here on and off for about 30 years and 2 owners. The food here is pretty good I have my go to favorites and there are things I haven't tried as well as thing I think could be better. Giovanni's also participates in the Localflavor.com program currently with a $30 for $15 gift certificate so its a great value. This restaurant is also a favorite of the senior community since the have a senior menu at lower prices. Some of my favorites here are pizza,lasagna ( meat & spinach), chicken fettuccine and cobb salad. The things I think they could do better is the deli meats seem too salty( & I'm not salt sensitive) & pastrami. These are two things I really enjoy and if they did it better I would have to drive to Temecula to enjoy them. They also have pretty good soups with two choices minestrone every day and one other which changes daily. I have not tried the steaks or ribs since I already have go to favorite for these dishes. I enjoy this at least weekly and since I found the coupon up to three times weekly. Enjoy!!

9/26/2025 - Personnel and Service were pleasant and friendly, for a take-out order.
However, after years of supporting and boasting to friends about this business, Friday September 26, will be our last visit, for the forseable future. The food was extremely dissapointing.
The Gnocchi was undercooked, the tiramisu smelled moldy and not edible, the garlic bread was overcooked, and the spaghetti and it's soup-like sauce were tasteless.
The Pesto Bread was the only delectable item in our order.
This is our second experience of disappointment at this establishment, therefore, we will spend our money elsewhere. DINER BE AWARE.

This evening we went out for dinner and I was not happy with our service nor our food. My husband ordered the ribs and they were unacceptably dry. I ordered the sausage and peppers with pasta and it lacked flavor the bottom of the dish had water and the sauce wasn’t sticking to the noodles. Plus our waitress lacked good service my husband had to ask for a refill on his drink and she never offered anyone else if they needed a refill. Then our waitress disappeared for what felt like 20 mins. Another waitress by the name Sarah came to our rescue and was extremely attentive and had great customer service. Sarah was the only good experience we had this evening.

The pizza and garlic bread was excellent but fettuccine alfredo and the lasagna was sooo gross. The server was slow and forgetful. Plus the pizza came out like 15 minutes before the fettuccine alfredo and the lasagna.

Wednesday is shrimp corn chowder day! It was so good! Service was friendly. Great casual vibe. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip to the casino!
