We were planning on going to a different sushi place when we got lost. As we were turning around, we saw Hana Sushi and decided to try it out. The place was fantastic. Our servers were friendly, pleasant, and always checked in with us. They had the Thursday night NFL game on.

I zero to eat on Thursday. At 4:30 we ordered a California roll. It tasted abnormally crabby but I was starving so I went against my better judgement and ate the entire roll. Around 3 am I woke up feeling extremely nauseous. Started with well, you know. Then Cramping, then throwing up for the next 12 hours. I called the manager to let her know. Within 20 seconds, she said, “we sold 1000 California rolls on what day again. Yeah, on Thursday. It’s really hard to prove it was us. And nobody else got sick.” I proceeded to tell her it was the roll. Maybe I got the last of the package. Idk. But she was extremely rude dismissed me. I’ll never go back to any Hana sushi again. Terrible manager.

My experience was horrible. The salmon kama was filled with bones. I had to spit a mouth full of bones into a napkin. I haven't spit into a napkin since I was little so that was pretty embarrassing. They charged 3.95 for 12 oz can of pop which we had to specifically request glasses for. The waiters were nonchalant about the entire way business was conducted. Re was nothing good about being seeted next to a restroom in an otherwise empty restaurant. Service was super slow. We will not be returning. Ever!

On Oct. 1, 2025, I took a friend to Hana's in Menifee, thinking of setting up monthly lunches for approx. 12 team members, monthly. We ordered soft drinks and had canned Pepsi served.We had to request glasses for the $3.95, 12 Oz. can! My friend ordered the Salmon Kama, and first bite was filled with bones!! My California roll was just rolled in rice! Servers and cooks were all men dressed in black. Service was slow and they were not busy. I have been coming to Hana for a good 15+ years, bringing many people with. I will never go back! It was a horrible experience!!

I ordered take out from this restaurant. The noodles i ordered i didn't care for because I tasted too much of Chinese Five spices in it. The flavor of that particular spice was too overwhelming.
As for wheelchair accessibility, I don't think a wheelchair would maneuver around very well in this restaurant as the restaurant inside is small.

I have been here twice. Sushi is overall good and I decided to order the Totonkonen miso soup this time. It wasn’t good. Soup was super salty, noodles were still clumped together and barely any meat. I’ll stick with sushi if I decide to go there again.
