I had the Coastal Trio, guac with chips and it was so delicious! So delicious! Everything tasted fresh and well seasoned! I’m so very satisfied! How have I been in the area for four years and haven’t tried Rubio’s until today?!? Absolutely delicious!

When I’m hungry heading home from San Diego to Riverside, I always stop here to grab food. Place is always looking clean and staff are very friendly.

Refuses to take phone orders. I called, their voice message makes it clear that you can place an order over the phone. Employee refused to take order and said that they never take phone orders. The employee then asked me if I wanted to speak with the shift lead which I agreed to do. After a hold, an identical voice came on claiming to be the shift lead saying that the manager Micheal says that their location no longer will take phone orders at all and then offered for me to speak to their shift lead (a shift lead of a shift lead) which I agreed to. I was then hung up on after a brief hold. I then called back and a gentleman called Bill who also claimed to be the shift lead picked up and said that they always take phone orders except right now because it was too busy. I watch my baby and it would be nice to offer phone orders because I can put the phone on speaker while still holding my child. I don't appreciate the run around by employees and supposed shift leads and wish the first employee was just honest that they were too busy to do phone orders. 2 stars because the food there is generally good.

I come to rubios every now and then and today's service was not at all ok. The cashier which look like the one in charge was talkative while taking our order and we had ordered our food and drinks which were 3 cups and while paying I didn't notice my husband had grabbed all 3 cups and was heading straight to the fountain so the 1 cup that was there like literally in front of me I thought was mine too so I grabbed it and the cashier rudely snatched the cup and said "that's not yours" i said sorry and walked away that was really unprofessional when my intentions were not steal at all. I felt he could've had handled the situation better. Also my guac not green and the chips were salty.

Today we had rancid chips, our tacos were covered in some sour cream stuff with hardly any guacamole and a heap of cabbage. Not at all the plate we are used to. Unfortunately we did take out tonight or I would have sent it back.

There was no food in my bowl! It was nothing compared to my husband hearty looking salad & I had LESS than half a bowl of food! Never again! If I can leave a picture I will!
Vegetarian options: This was just disgraceful! No food in my bowl! Unbelievable!
